Top NBA Plays 3/13| Is This Really Just a 3-Game Slate?
Saturday night's NBA main slate is disappearing like a McFly family photo. It was an 8-gamer but dropped to 7 with the Knicks and Thunder starting at 2 PM ET. The slate really drops down to three games though as huge scoring is expected in Bucks @ Wizards, Kings @ Hawks, and Trail Blazers @ Timberwolves.
In cash, you target those games, but there could be tons of points in the Hornets against the depleted Raptors or perhaps even Mavs at Nuggets with Denver on the back to back. It looks like a solid DFS night when Brooklyn (vs Pistons) is a team to avoid.
Today's NBA Matchups
Pistons @ Nets (-11.5) , O/U 228, 7:00 PM ET
This one definitely has 🕯️Blowout Potential🕯️as you really need to look up who even plays for the Pistons anymore. Brooklyn has won 9 of 10 as well.
Raptors @ Hornets (-2), O/U 229.5, 7:00 PM ET
Charlotte is a target here. The Raptors are still ravaged by COVID quarantines, and have allowed 120+ in three straight, including 129 vs. Detroit.
Bucks (-10.5) @ Wizards, O/U 240.5, 7:00 PM ET
🐱Schrodinger's Matchup🐱 as this game looks both good and bad. The #1 and the #9 pace as well as Washington's 4th worst defense. The Bucks scored 134 in their last game, and the Wizards have allowed 125+ in three of the last four. There's going to be a lot of points, but could also very easily be a blowout with the Wizards on 0 days rest. Does Russ Westbrook play in the back to back? Bradley Beal was questionable with a knee injury last night - just a lot going on here.
Kings @ Hawks (-3.5), O/U 239.5, 7:30 PM ET
Sacramento has allowed 120+ in three of their last four games, and the 105 given up doesn't count because it was against Houston. Good Hawks target and solid game to look at overall with two of the bottom 8 defenses in the league going at it.
Trail Blazers (-4.5) @ Timberwolves, O/U 233, 8:00 PM ET
Talk about an enigma. In consecutive games before and after the all-star break Minnesota allowed 135 points to the Hornets and then on Thursday scored 135 vs. the Pelicans (holding New Orleans to 105). Just another great game to target with two bottom 7 defenses meeting up.
Mavericks @ Nuggets (-1.5), O/U 226, 10:00 PM ET
Dallas somewhat surprisingly sat Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis on Thursday, but it was on a back-to-back in their first stint back from the all star break. The Nuggets are in a similar situation, winning 103-102 in Memphis last night in their first action in over a week.
Pacers @ Suns (-6.5), O/U 216.5, 10:30 PM ET
Phoenix picked up right where they left off, winning 127-121 in Portland on Thursday for their 5th straight win. The Suns get a Pacers team that lost 105-100 at the Lakers on Thursday.
Lineup Notes: Devin Booker (knee) is probable
Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables
Damian Lillard DK $10.7k | FD $9.9k
@ Minnesota
The Timberwolves rank 28th vs. the PG position this season and play in a game with a betting total pushing North of 235. Harden's got a blowout vs. Detroit, Beal and Westbrook are on the b2b, Either Lillard, Trae Young (vs. SAC), or Luka (coming off rest) in the guard pay up spot tonight.
Caris LeVert DK $7.1k | FD $3.9k
@ Phoenix
Talk about a tale of two sites - FD makes it so you have to take a flyer on Caris LeVert tonight. Yes, we largely agree that his minutes are going to be limited and that the Suns top 10 defense isn't the best breaking in an opponent. That's what everybody thinks though, and minutes could be higher with the rest of the Pacers playing last night.
Buddy Hield DK $6.6k | FD $6.5
@ Hawks
Yes everybody has a Buddy Hield horror story, but he's quietly made the perfect lineup in four straight games and meets Atlanta, who has allowed 40+ fp to four straight SGs.
Anthony Edwards $6.5k | FD $6.5k
Ricky Rubio $5.7k | 4.8k
vs. Portland
The rookie looks like a solid play tonight. He's taken 20+ shots in five straight games and is in a game with a 235 betting total. The Trail Blazers ranking 29th vs. the SG position doesn't hurt at all either.
You also can't overlook Rubio going for 39+ in four games vs. Portland last season. He loves playing the #26 ranked Blazers D vs. the PG.
Tonight's SF / PF Notables
Jerami Grant DK $7.7k | FD $7.4k
@ Brooklyn
The Nets have just allowed 17/8 to Daniel Theis and 12/10 to Jae'Sean Tate at the PF spot over the last two games. Grant had 32/8/4 on Thursday, his first game since February 28th. Grant is ready to become the official face of the Pistons with Blake Griffin (out) moving to the Nets.
Norman Powell DK $7.3k | FD $7.6k
@ Charlotte
I think you keep riding the Powell Party Bus with all the people the Raptors still have missing. Powell is getting minutes almost out of necessity (36+ last three) and has gone for 30+ real points in three of the last four. The Hornets are 28th defensively on the year vs. the SF.
PJ Washington DK $6.7k | FD $6.1k
vs. Toronto
The Toronto defense (well whole team) is reeling right now as they are shorthanded, giving up 120+ to three straight opponents. That's got to bode well for PJ Washington, who had 20/11 (42fp) and 14/12 (41fp) in two prior meetings with the Raptors - when they were at full strength.
Bogdan Bogdanovich DK $3.8k | FD $3.8k
vs. Sacramento
There could be some upside on Bog-Bog tonight as he plays his first ever game against his former team Sacramento. He had a few 30+ games earlier in the season and has only been back from the injured list the last three games. The betting total between these two horrible defenses is in the 240s, so points will be out there.
Tonight's Center Position Notables
Nikola Jokic DK $10.8k | FD $11.7k
vs. Dallas
Will Jokic playing on the back-to-back drive some ownership down? He did play 36 minutes last night, putting up 28/15/7 vs. Memphis last night. Karl-Anthony Towns is also on the slate for $2K less, there was a time when bigs vs. Dallas was a thing. Jokic also had 75fp in his last back to back, going for 37/10/11 vs. Milwaukee while playing 36+ minutes in consecutive road games.
Enes Kanter DK $7.2k | FD $6.8k
@Minnesota
It was only a couple of weeks ago where C's vs. Minnesota was a 🔒Lock Spot🔒. They strangely seem to have been getting better defensively with Towns back (?) but they've also played the likes of Wendell Carter, Jr., Bismack Biyombo, Moe Wagner, and Steven Adams lately.
Usually, Enes Kanter is on that list of mediocre C's, but he's thriving in the starting role with Portland with a double-double in eight straight games, including 22 points and 21 rebounds vs. the Kings in the game prior to the all-star break.

🔥 SuperDraft Multiplier Must-Play
Today's SuperDraft multiplier must-play is Anthony Edwards at 1.6X. He's shooting the ball a ton lately and plays a Portland team that struggles with their back court defense.
