Guards

Barton will be pumped up tonight.

Will Barton, DEN [@MIA] (DK: $6.3k, FD: $6.6k)

The Nuggets will be without Gary Harris again tonight, putting Barton into the starting lineup. Barton floundered a bit last start against the Grizzlies hitting for only 3 of 12, but his other peripheral stats were there. Tonight is a better matchup against the Miami Heat who rank 19th against starting shooting guards. With a couple more shots falling tonight, Barton should easily be able to hit value tonight with a high ceiling in this role. Look for some of the other Denver guys to pickup some extra usage with Harris out as well (Murray, Jokic)

Cameron Payne, CHI [@NY] (DK: $4.7k, FD: $4.9k)

Chicago is going to be without Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine again tonight, leaving Payne with the starting gig. He performed well in the last start versus Cleveland dishing out 10 assists with 11 shot attempts. He draws another favorable matchup against a weakened Knicks team that is tanking as much as the bulls. Payne's salary has not gone up much and the Bulls seem determined not to give guys like Justin Holiday and Jerian Grant any significant playing time, leaving Payne and Blakeney to do the heavy lifting.

Quinn Cook, GS [@SA] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $5.2k)

The theme of the night.. another player taking over a significant role due to injuries. Golden State needs twitter to expand their character limit to list of all of their injuries at this point. They'll be without Curry, Durant, Thompson, Casspi, with a lot of the reserves having smaller issues but most are probable tonight. Cook is probable as well, he played through last game with the same hand injury listed. Cook has been fantastic over the last 2 games and has the same role tonight, but with a tougher matchup against the Spurs. Maybe he can't get 40 fantasy points again, but something in the 30's is certainly possible.

Forwards

Ante up for the Giannis show!

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL [@CLE] (DK: $10.8k, FD: $12.5k)

With all of the value available today, fitting someone like LeBron or Giannis isn't going to be a problem. Giannis is a bit better play on DraftKings due to the large salary difference, but makes for a decent play on either site. In 3 games against the Cavs this season, Giannis has scored 66, 57, and 61 fantasy points, with similar numbers last year. Giannis loves to play against guys like LeBron, as most players do, they bring their A-game to these matchups. The Cavs are super beat up, so this could come down to the LeBron/Giannis show tonight.

Denzel Valentine, CHI [@NY] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $6.3k)

The Day's Injury Theme continues, the Bulls are without 2 of their highest usage guys, which means plenty of extra usage for Valentine. He had a massive game against the Cavs and is looking setup for another nice game tonight against the Knicks. This game is slated with a high 218 total points and close 5.5 point spread in favor of the Knicks. The Knicks are ranked 20th against starting small forwards allowing 29 fantasy points a game.

Jeremy Lamb, CHA [@PHI] (DK: $4.2k, FD: $4.8k)

Surprise surprise, another player getting a bit starting role for an injured Nicolas Batum. With Batum off the court during the season, Lamb is seeing +2% usage and +3FP/48 mins, and +4% usage and +7FP/48mins over the last month. This game has a high 223 point total but a larger 8 point spread in favor of the 76ers at home. The Hornets aren't quite out of the playoff race, they have an extremely low chance, but there's no reason they won't give it a try until they're eliminated.

Centers

Nikola Jokic, DEN [@MIA] (DK: $8.8k, FD: $10k)

With Gary Harris out, Jokic is going to see some extra usage on his already high usage rate. The Joker's unpredictability can be frustrating but while another Denver starting player is out, that unpredictability isn't quite as bad. His ceiling is hard to ignore as any given night he can drop a 70 burger. The matchup ranking says bad, but Whiteside is out so he's only facing Bam Adebayo and Olynyk tonight who he can dominate.

Brook Lopez, LAL [@IND] (DK: $6.4k, FD: $6.9k)

Lopez is still dealing with a back issue that put a late questionable tag on him in Friday's game, so keep an eye out for updates. As long as he plays, he's likely in a good situation as Myles Turner is much more questionable to play (which would mean play Al Jefferson). So even if Turner plays, he's not going to be at 100%. Brook Lopez has turned into some sort of alter-ego of himself with something to prove late this season.

Willie Cauley-Stein, SAC [vs DET] (DK: $5.6k, FD: $7.1k)

The price tag on FanDuel is a bit high, but on DraftKings he's extremely playable tonight. Big men are going to be required to face off versus Griffin and Drummond, and 7 foot WCS is signed up for the job. He hasn't shown it in a while, but Willie does have a decent ceiling in the 40's and should be seeing extended time on the court tonight for a chance to reach it. The game total is fairly low at 204 total points but has a very close 3.5 point spread in favor of Detroit.
