Top NBA Plays 3/20| Not a Nice Little Saturday
The NBA slate is a little light for a Saturday, maybe it was planned that way as to give the NCAA their time in the spotlight. We've got 5 games on tap, but only 4 for the main slate as the Hawks @ Lakers has an early 3:30 PM ET tip.
There are also expected blowouts in the Spurs @ Bucks and Hornets @ Clippers games and could happen also happen with the shorthanded Warriors playing the Grizzlies on the back to back and the Kings doing the same at Philadelphia.
Might be some choppy waters today, but let's see what we can dig up.
Today's NBA Matchups
Kings @ Sixers (-6.5) , O/U 232, 8:00 PM ET
The Kings defense had a bounce back game last night, winning 107-96 in Boston. Sacramento had allowed at least 119 points in six of their previous seven. Do you trust them to do that again on the short turnaround though - and when the Sixers have had the last two nights off?
Warriors @ Grizzlies (-5.5), O/U 221.5, 8:00 PM ET
The Warriors and Grizzlies lace them up again after a 116-103 Golden State win last night playing without Steph Curry (D-tailbone) or Eric Paschall and James Wiseman (illness). This is a typical 🎳Split Spot🎳where the Grizzlies run away with one.
Spurs @ Bucks (-9.5), O/U 230.5, 9:00 PM ET
San Antonio led wire to wire in toppling the Cavs 116-110 last night, but now they have to turn around and play the Bucks right away. The Spurs have won three straight - but Milwaukee has knocked out five in a row.
Hornets @ Clippers (-9.5), O/U 231, 10:00 PM ET
Oddsmakers are calling this one a blowout, but it's hard to predict the Clippers dominating anybody right now as they are 2-4 over their last 6. Cody Zeller (shin) is out tonight, but who do you target in the Clippers frontcourt? #ZubazforZubac?
Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables
Ben Simmons DK $9.1k | FD $8.5k
vs. Sacramento
The Kings played better defense last night but now have the short turnaround. Ben Simmons gets De'Aaron Fox a night after he logged 37 minutes vs. a tough Celtics defense.
Jrue Holiday DK $6.5k | FD $6.7k
vs. Spurs
Jrue Holiday was a $7.5k+ player prior to missing 10 games due to quarantine. He's starting to round back into form (38+ fp two of last three) and gets a Spurs team on the back to back tonight. That's a play on a short slate and at this price.
Jordan Poole DK $5.1k | FD $4.6
@ Memphis
Fatigue is always a worry for a shooter on the back to back, but at this price, Jordan Poole is worth a few looks. He's a launcher anyways, but now is seeing extra minutes with Steph Curry injured. Poole dropped 25 real points last night vs. the Grizzlies and has the same matchup again.
Patty Mills DK $4.7k | FD $4k
@ Milwaukee
Yuck, but that's why ownership is 4%. For as good as Jrue Holiday is offensively for the Bucks, his defense is a big reason why opposing PGs have gone for 50+ in 4 of the last 5 vs. Milwaukee. Dejounte Murray will get a lot of that exposure, but he also played 37 minutes last night vs. Cleveland. Patty Mills should be fresh with just 25 minutes vs. the Cavs and will get a lot of matchup minutes with Lonnie Walker IV sidelined.
Tonight's SF / PF Notables
Tobias Harris DK $8.8k | FD $8.3k
vs. Sacramento
You're playing the league's worst defense, who also happens to be on the back-to-back. Throw in a +7.35% usage and +12.24 fp bump when Joel Embiid and Seth Curry don't play and things are looking good for Tobias Harris tonight.
Nicolas Batum DK $3.9k | FD $3.6k
vs. Charlotte
It's not a bad night to spend up for Giannis or even Kawhi, because the F position looks a bit light tonight. One angle is the Nicolas Batum vs. his former team route, as he plays the Hornets for the first time after spending the last 5 years there. A Clippers blowout wouldn't hurt things here either.
Tonight's Center Position Notables
Jakob Poeltl DK $6.3k | FD $5.6k
@ Milwaukee
The C options are downright ugly tonight. Maybe Jonas Valanciunas ($7.7k) vs. a thin Warriors frontcourt, but there's a solid upside for Jakob Poeltl at a better price. He's grabbed 12+ rebounds in three straight games, gets the best pace boost of the night, and plays a Milwaukee team that isn't very good vs. the C when they're not playing Nerlens Noel, Alex Len, or Tony Bradley.
Dwight Howard DK $6k | FD $5k
vs. Sacramento
It's looking like a Sixers Stack night, as the Kings playing good defense against Boston last night was a fluke. Dwight Howard is still coming off the bench even with the Embiid injury, but he's got a double-double in two straight and 3 of the last 5. The Kings are missing Bagley, and are 25th vs. the C spot regardless.

🔥 SuperDraft Multiplier Must-Play
Today's SuperDraft multiplier must-play is Tobias Harris at 1.15X. Gets the best fp and usage boost without Embiid and Curry and plays Sacramento's #30 defense while the Kings are also on the b2b.
