Guards
Terry Rozier, BOS [vs OKC] (DK: $7.3k, FD: $7.5k)
Kyrie Irving and company are still out, which means Rozier remains in the starting point guard role for the Celtics and playing a ton of minutes. He draws a favorable matchup tonight against the Thunder who rank 24th against starting point guards allowing 36 fantasy points a game. There are going to be some blowouts tonight but this game is slated with a very competitive 3.5 point spread and an up-pace tempo for Boston to keep up with as they will likely be trailing.
Jeff Teague, MIN [vs LAC] (DK: $6.4k, FD: $7k)
Teauge has played well versus the Clippers this season, scoring 31, 36, and 42 fantasy points against them in 3 games. This is the most important game yet and they'll be playing hard to secure the win (which is covered below in Austin Rivers section below). The Clippers tend to give up a ton of points when they are underdogs and they'll likely be trailing tonight.
Austin Rivers, LAC [@MIN] (DK: $5.8k, FD: $6k)
Slated as the highest scoring game of the night with 226 total points and a tight 3.5 spread means lots of fantasy goodness to spread around in this game. Rivers has played well against Minnesota this season, when Jimmy Butler was still around no less. Both of these teams are fighting for a playoff spot, Clippers on the outside looking in at Minnesota 2 games up. This is going to be a hugely important win for both of these teams and there is going to be some serious fight to get it.
Forwards
Paul George, OKC [@BOS] (DK: $7.6k, FD: $8.2k)
Getting a decent salary discount tonight for facing Boston but they aren't the same team without Irving and Smart. Boston is ranked 20th against starting small forwards over the last 20 games and 25th over the last 5 games. The downside here, is there really isn't much for either of these teams to play for, with the Celtics already clinched. Though the Thunder may feel more secure getting the few wins they need, earlier rather than later.
Josh Jackson, PHO [vs DET] (DK: $6.3, FD: $6.5k)
T.J. Warren is doubtful to play, and Devin Booker is questionable with a hand sprain. Josh Jackson is looking at a big day with just Warren off the court, if Booker misses as well then Jackson could see Westbrook type usage. It's a tougher matchup against the Pistons who rank 2nd against starting small forwards but the Suns will be short handed and Jackson will get his tonight. The spread is just 6 points currently, indicating a blowout while possible, isn't likely.
Nemanja Bjelica, MIN [vs LAC] (DK: $5.8k, FD: $6.1k)
There's going to be some fight in this game, and it doesn't hurt that it's the highest scoring game of the night. Nemanja Bjelica has shown that he has a high ceiling and in this type of game that ceiling is definitely within reach. The Clippers rank 18th versus starting small forwards, allowing 28 fantasy points a game and more when they're on the road.
Centers
DeAndre Jordan, LAC [@MIN] (DK: $7.8k, FD: $8.2k)
It's hard to resist targeting this game, high scoring and ultra competitive. It's down-pace for the Clippers which tends to benefit big men like Jordan. DeAndre has played well versus the Timberwolves over the last 3 years and is no doubt going to want to help secure a win tonight to pull them a game closer to that playoff line.
Clint Capela, HOU [@POR] (DK: $6.6k, FD: $7.8k)
Houston doesn't have anything to play for with the top spot in the conference looking fairly secure with how beat up the Warriors are. I guess until they have it secure they'll continue to play hard for these wins. Portland is ranked 26th against starting centers, allowing 36 fantasy points a game, Capela hasn't had much success against Portland but he has been playing better over the last 3 games and is still a little under-priced, at least on DraftKings.
Dewayne Dedmon, ATL [@UTA] (DK: $4.8k, FD: $5.3k)
John Collins has been ruled out, leaving Dedmon, Muscala and Cavanaugh to get the job done. It's hard to trust anyone on this tanking Atlanta team against Utah, but Dedmon has shown he can put up points in a hurry. If you're going to go cheap at center or power forward tonight, Dedmon is a solid option or go even cheaper with Cavanaugh as this game is likely to become a blowout in a hurry.
