Top NBA Plays 3/27 | Needle in the Hay "Stack"

It's a 5 game card for NBA's Wednesday DFS schedule. Of the last 35 times there's been a docket of 2-6 games, a team stack was used in each and every perfect lineup. That kind of goes without saying since there are so few teams in action but interesting that it's been a 100% hit none the less. PG+PF, PG+C, and PG+SF have been the three most frequently used combinations, which shows the true value of the point man.

Tonight's DFS Headlines

Damian Lillard's ($10,300) salary has increased $400 even though the Trail Blazers play the injury riddled Bulls who also happen to be on a back-to-back. For some reason Portland is only a 7 point favorite at the United Center.

One of the best teams to stack against lately has been the Thunder (allowed 3 PG's and 3 C's in perfect lineups the last month). That being said, can you really trust the Pacers 22nd ranked scoring offense vs. OKC on Wednesday? (O/U 215).

It could also be a risky DFS night for Jazz players like Donovan Mitchell ($7,900) and Rudy Gobert ($8,200) considering Utah is a -13.5 point favorite over the Lakers and beat LA by 18 when they met in January. The Lakers have won two in a row, but are in a B2B today.

The Pacers aren't your traditional DFS producers but they've got a solid matchup vs. OKC

Guards

Darren Collison (DK: $5,700 FD: $6,600 Y! $24) Ownership: 10.11%

Fire up the LineStar lineup optimizer for this one because Darren Collison is a game time decision with a quad injury. By all accounts, he's back in the lineup, which would be the first time the Pacers are fully healthy since the all-star break (besides Victor Oladipo). Indiana hasn't won a road game in a month, but they should put up some numbers against the OKC defense. When the teams met two weeks ago, Collison had a 17/6/7 night but that was in 38 minutes. Do his minutes get restricted tonight - or is he fresh?

Klay Thompson (DK: $7,000 FD: $7,900 Y! $31) Ownership 13.68%

It's a hefty price tag for Klay Thompson, especially the way the Warriors look lackadaisical lately but still have a lot of mouths to feed. Today's game could also be a blowout, as the Warriors are -11.5 road favorites at Memphis. Maybe that big win will just make Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and DeMarcus Cousins ride the pine though, and in that case, Thompson has a great matchup vs. the Grizzlies. Memphis allowed 64 and 88 fantasy points to Bradley Beal and James Harden in consecutive games followed by Evan Fournier scoring 49 and Josh Okogie even having a 33 fp night. Thompson doesn't need a lot of court time to do a lot of damage in this one.

Thompson is the top option in the LineStar Daily Matchup tool

Seth Curry (DK: $4,200 FD: $4,900 Y! $10) Ownership 5.96%

Portland's Seth Curry has seen a nice uptick lately with CJ McCollum being out of the lineup. Curry has 13, 9, and 16 field goal attempts in the last three games and should have plenty of opportunities vs. an injury depleted Chicago team. With Jusuf Nurkic also now being out for Portland, Curry should be called upon a lot more to take some of the scoring relief off of Damian Lillard.

Forwards

Bojan Bogdanovic (DK: $5,900 FD: $6,400 Y!: $23) Ownership 9.9%

Bojan Bogdanovic has confidence coming into today's game with OKC, as he went 13-16 and scored 35 points last time out vs. Denver in just 25 minutes. It could have been a huge night for Bogdanovic if not for the Pacers having a huge lead and ultimately beating the Nuggets by 36. The pace and the price are right, and Bogdanovic has at least 14 field goal attempts in 7 of the last 10 games.

It's a tough matchup for Bogdanovic but Paul George hasn't been a completely shutdown defender lately.

Shaquille Harrison (DK: $4,900 FD: $4,800 Y!: $11) Ownership 32.5%

Shaquille Harrison was a solid play on Tuesday with 33 fantasy points and should see that production possibly even increase despite Chicago being in a back-to-back. Injuries have the Bulls down to as few as 8 players tonight and Harrison should be relatively fresh with 33 minutes vs. Toronto. Otto Porter, Jr., Zach Lavine, Kris Dunn, and Lauri Markkanen are all questionable vs. Portland today. Harrison should have as many shots and minutes as he wants vs. the Trail Blazers.

With like 90% of your scoring missing, obviously a lot of Bulls players are getting a usage boost Wednesday.

Zach Collins (DK: $4,000 FD: $4,800 Y! $15) Ownership 0.32%

Zach Collins, pick up the white courtesy phone. With Jusuf Nurkic out for the season after breaking his leg vs. Brooklyn on Monday, it's Collins' turn to be the man in the middle for Portland. Well, technically it's going to be Enes Kanter that also sees a lot of action at C for the Trail Blazers but Collins is a value play vs. the Bulls. Collins costs $1,000 less than Kanter and has a much lower usage.

Center

Jonas Valanciunas (DK: $7,700, FD; $8,400 Y!:$32 ) Ownership 27.22%

Jonas Valanciunas has posted four straight 40+ point fantasy nights. The Grizzlies are still very banged up with Joakim Noah out again and Mike Conley being a GTD. Memphis should be able to keep the contest vs. the Warriors relatively close, as it's a game Golden State could be very uninspired for. Vlanciunas has at least 14 rebounds in four straight games, and Karl-Anthony Towns recently slammed the Warriors for a 21 board night.

One of those 60+ nights would be great from Val vs. the Warriors.

Utility Player

Devin Booker (DK:$9,200 FD:$10,700 Y!: $53) Ownership 7.29%

After some value plays, there is $10,600 available at the utility spot, which makes every player available. There are issues with each of the high priced players, as Damian Lillard is in a blowout spot vs. Chicago, LeBron James seems to still be battling an injury and could also get blown out by Utah. Bradley Beal played 37 minutes yesterday and Russell Westbrook / Paul George have a tough matchup with Indiana. Believe it or not, Devin Booker might have the most potential for a 65-70 point night, as he went for 72 last game. Phoenix is up against Washington, who is on a B2B and Booker needs to be selfish in this one.

There are things to love and hate about pretty much every game tonight but that's what makes it a fun slate. There are 8 NBA games on the card for Thursday in an action packed sports day that sees the MLB season get underway and the NCAA tournament get back in action.
