Sunday night Javale McGee offered Zion Williamson a jersey swap. The rookie responded with, "I'm good, you keep it" which is a great reminder to do your own thing. Low ownership might have you second guessing a player or their matchup might look horrible on paper. If your research and 'gut' tell you to go with the player, just do it - your instincts could pay off big time.

Or maybe not... that's the crazy thing about NBA DFS. Either way, on to tonight's 8-game slate.

Tonight's DFS Headlines

Spurs (-2.5) @ Hornets O/U

Charlotte is a great team to target bigs against but the Spurs will be without LaMarcus Aldridge (shoulder) for the fourth straight game. The Spurs still won this matchup by 24 in San Antonio on February 1st.

Nets @ Celtics (-7.5), O/U

Brooklyn seems to be running out of steam, having dropped games to Washington and Atlanta (as well as Miami) on this current road trip. Boston had a tough loss to the Rockets on Saturday, but is expected to get reinforcements as Kemba Walker and Robert Williams return to the lineup. At the same time, Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum are questionable with illnesses tonight though.

Timberwolves @ Pelicans (-11.5), O/U 247.5

This looks like a great game to target with a betting total nearing 250. That's especially true for New Orleans players, as Minnesota has dropped 20 of the last 22 games.

Clippers (-3) @ Thunder O/U 226

L.A. is putting up some great offensive numbers on their current 4-game win streak, scoring 124+ in 3 games and averaging 134 the last two. That's not good for the Thunder who were 133-86 at Milwaukee on Friday.

Warriors @ Nuggets (-15), O/U

This game definitely has 💣Blowout Game 💣potential, as Denver is a 15 point favorite. The Warriors had one player (Mychal Mulder) log 31 minutes last time out in his 2nd career game and two others (Dragan Bender, Juan Toscano-Anderson) start after being signed last month.

Raptors (-4) @ Suns, O/U

Toronto is on a 3-game skid and they're very thin on the inside with Marc Gasol (hamstring) and Serge Ibaka (GTD - knee) on the sidelines. Fred VanVleet (GTD - shoulder) has also missed the last two.

76ers @ Lakers (-13.5), O/U

This game loses a lot of star power with Ben Simmons (back), Joel Embiid (shoulder), Josh Richardson (concussion) and Anthony Davis (knee) potentially out. The Sixers have won 3 in a row in the series, but are 13.5 point underdogs tonight.

Wizards @ Kings (5.5), O/U 232.5

This may be a good game to target, as Washington has allowed 126+ points in 3 of the last 5 but also scored 124+ in 2 of the last 4.

Guards

Caris LeVert DK $7.2k | FD $6.3k

Huge price drop on Caris LeVert tonight up against Boston's #4 unit in defensive efficiency. The C's get Kemba Walker back tonight, but what are his minutes going to be after returning from a knee injury? Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum are also said to be battling illnesses. LeVert has had 2 nights off after struggling a bit on the back-to-back Saturday (25fp). He's still taken 17+ shots in 7 straight games as well.

Buddy Hield DK $5.5k | FD $5.5k

Giving Buddy Hield one more shot tonight, as he hasn't busted the 35fp barrier in the last 5 games. Sacramento has the Wizards tonight who rank 27th vs. the SG position. Washington has allowed 126+ in 3 of the last 5. Hield took 17 shots last game vs. Detroit and De'Aaron Fox could also be a bit hobbled with abdominal pain tonight.

Gary Harris DK $3.9k | FD $4.1k

Breakout game coming for Gary Harris tonight? He shouldn't be overly benched in the case of a blowout tonight and shouldn't need a whole lot of court time vs. Golden State's #30 ranked dVp against the SG. Harris hit for 15 points last game

Forwards

Trey Lyles DK $5.2k | FD $5.4k

You don't like that Trey Lyles played 37 minutes vs. the Pacers last night, but he's getting his opportunities with Lamarcus Aldridge out of the lineup. Popovich's usage is an unknown on the back-to-back, but what is known is that Charlotte is horrible vs. the PF position, allowing 37+ fp in four straight while ranking 27th dVp. Lyles has back-to-back 20 real point games with a great chance of making it three in a row.

Tobias Harris DK $8.2k | FD $7.3k

Decent FD value on Tobias Harris tonight as he gets to be the man for Philadelphia at the Staples Center vs. the Lakers. Harris gets a big boost with Embiid and Simmons out and that jumps to an 18.96 fp increase with Josh Richardson also off the court. Harris has taken 21 shots in each of the last two games while the Lakers have allowed 29 and 35 points to Zion Williamson at the PF position in 2 of the last 4.

Juancho Hernangomez DK $5.5k | FD $4.8k

Juancho Hernangomez gets a matchup with Zion Williamson tonight in a game with a betting total of 247.5. The Minnesota forward has posted 12+ rebounds in consecutive games and has taken 11 shots in three straight. Ownership should be low considering New Orleans is a top 10 rebounding team and have been pretty solid vs. the PF as of late.

Center

Deandre Ayton DK $8.4k | FD $8.6k

You'd like to see the price tag a little bit lower on Deandre Ayton tonight vs. Toronto's #3 defense vs. the C position. The Raptors are thin on the front lines though, with both Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka out of the lineup. The Raptors had 6'6" Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at the C position last game. Ayton has 20+ real points in 4 of the last 5 and has two 17+ rebound games over that span.
