Top NBA Plays 3/30|Slim Pickings...Or Is It?

It looks like a meager 4-game slate tonight with a possible blowout with the Magic vs. Cavs. LAC is on the back to back though, and all three of the other games have the potential to be kind of exciting. This is definitely quality not quantity slate - but it does have upside. Let's see what we can dig up:

Today's NBA Matchups

Hornets (-3.5) @ Wizards, O/U 230, 7:00 PM ET

Holy Russ! Forget the 🍔60 Burger🍔, Westbrook hit the 🥩90 Steak🥩last night with 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 21 assists. Now comes the ultimate question - do you go back to the well?

Bradley Beal is questionable again tonight, but Westbrook played 39 minutes last night. Ownership is still going to be through the roof on a short slate, but is it pivot time? The Hornets have held four straight teams to 105 or less.

Sixers @ Nuggets (-4.5), O/U 220.5, 9:00 PM ET

We don't get the Embiid v. Jokic matchup, or even Tony Bradley v. Jokic for that matter. Can Denver's MVP candidate have a big game vs. the Mike Scott/Dwight Howard or do the Nuggets just have too many options with the addition of Aaron Gordon?

Magic @ Clippers (-11.5), O/U 215, 10:0 PM ET

🕯️Blowout Game🕯️could go out the window if the Clippers decide to turn this into a 🛏️Rest Game🛏️ instead. L.A. rolled to a 129-105 win over Milwaukee last night with Kawhi Leonard logging 36 minutes. Paul George (foot) was also scratched 30 minutes before tip last night.

Hawks @ Suns (-6.5), O/U 221, 10:00 PM ET

Phoenix is on leg one of the back-to-back, but that shouldn't matter much with the struggling Bulls coming to town tomorrow night. What the Suns have done lately is get involved in a lot of low scoring games, holding 5 of the last 6 opponents to 101 or less.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Terry Rozier DK $7.7k | FD $7.5k

Devonte Graham DK $6.1k | 5.3

@Washington

Terry Rozier and Devonte Graham get a Wizards team playing on 0 days rest tonight, and one who ranks 20th defensively vs. the SG position and 28th vs. the PG. Graham has hit for 30+ fp in three straight, and Rozier has 40+ in three of four.

Dwayne Bacon DK $5.7k | FD $6k

@ Clippers

It looks like Dwayne Bacon is heading back to the bench with a possible Terrence Ross return. The Baconator didn't do anything wrong, averaging 21.5 real points in the last two. This could actually be a spot where being on the bench is better off though, as Orlando is a blowout risk at the Clippers.

Terrance Mann DK $4.7k | FD $4.7

vs. Orlando

Terrance Mann gets a slight boost of 3.28% and 4.54 fp if Leonard, Beverley, and Ibaka sit as expected. That goes up even higher if Paul George does indeed rest his sore foot against a bad Orlando team. Mann has 6X this price in 4 of the last 5, and would also get lofty court time in a blowout.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Paul George DK $8.6k | FD $8.7k

vs. Orlando

No sense Kawhi Leonard playing tonight on the back to back vs. Orlando, so enter a fresh Paul George who sat out last night's win vs. Milwaukee. With Serge Ibaka and Patrick Beverley also being out, George gets a usage bump we just need Orlando to keep things close.

Marcus Morris DK $5.1k | FD $4.5k

vs. Orlando

Nice FD pricing on Marcus Morris, especially if George decides to join Ibaka, Beverley, and (possibly) Leonard on the bench. That would give Morris a 13% usage increase, and he played well last night with 25/5/3 vs. Milwaukee.

Deni Avdija DK $3.7k | FD $3.6k

vs. Charlotte

Punt play on a short slate? Avdija's minutes have increased the last two, and that should continue with Washington on 0 days rest.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Dwight Howard DK $5.8k | FD $5.1k

@ Denver

It feels like the Sixers are going to be thoroughly overmatched if they stick with 6'7" Mike Scott at the C position tonight. The Nuggets could also debut JaVale McGee tonight, so look for an uptick in Dwight Howard minutes. Howard has double digits in six straight games that he doesn't get kicked out of after 6 minutes.

JaVale McGee DK $3.7k | FD $3.8k

vs. Philadelphia

Any chance Denver dominates vs. a Sixers team playing their 4th straight game West of the Mississippi and 5th straight on the road? It would be a great opportunity to have JaVale McGee make his Denver debut if so. Philly doesn't have a ton of size with Embiid hurt and Tony Bradley getting traded, and McGee had a 36fp output the last time he played - which was 9 days ago so he's very fresh.
