Guards
Russell Westbrook, OKC [vs PHO] (DK: $11.8k, FD: $12k)
Tonight is a fairly small 5-game slate, I wouldn't say he's a must play but it's pretty close with this sweet matchup. He's scored 61 and 77 fantasy points against the Suns already this season, and the numbers against them least year were crazy good (though OKC was a much different team). The game is slated at 228 total points which is the highest of the night, but comes with a large 10 point spread signalling the blowout possibility flag. Not that matchups matter for a stud like Westbrook, but the Suns are ranked 21st against starting point guards.
Devin Booker, PHO [@OKC] (DK: $8.9k, FD: $8.2k)
He put up 61 fantasy points against the Thunder 6 days ago, with a massive 28 shot attempts. The Thunder are ranked 25th against opposing starting shooting guards, losing Andre Roberson earlier in the season has really left a hole in their defense. As mentioned above, this game has the largest point total which makes for a good target tonight. If you're playing Westbrook you'll want to consider pairing him with Booker as well. If the Suns are going to keep the game close, Booker is going to be a big reason why, and having a close game will help Westbrook.
Dejounte Murray, SA [@GS] (DK: $5.8k, FD: $6.5k)
Murray gets a nice matchup tonight against the Warriors who are ranked 29th against starting point guards. Murray has seen his usage rise +3.3% and is scoring +10FP/48 mins without Gasol on the court over the last month. This game is slated with 221 total points, the 2nd highest point total of the night and also comes with a large 11 point spread, and has significant blowout factor as well.
Forwards
Draymond Green, GS [vs SA] (DK: $7.3k, FD: $7.7k)
The Warriors are dealing with a decent number of injuries tonight (Andre Iguodala and David West are doubtful and Jordan Bell is out), so even if it's a blowout, Draymond is likely to just play his normal number of minutes regardless. In a very good matchup tonight against the Spurs who are ranked 27th against starting power forwards. In each of the last 5 games, the Spurs have allowed the opposing starting power forward to eclipse 40 fantasy points.
Dario Saric, PHI [@MIA] (DK: $6.1k, FD: $6.3k)
Dario Saric is just a cash game play, he's been absurdly consistent over the season. Against Miami he's been consistent as well, scoring between 35-41 fantasy points in each of the 3 games this season. There's no reason he shouldn't be in a cash lineup, just don't play him in a tournament lineup as he has no ceiling with Embiid and Simmons on the court with him. The Heat are ranked 25th against starting power forwards, and are playing around with their rotation so Saric might see some holes tonight.
Kyle Anderson, SA [@GS] (DK: $5.1k, FD: $6.2k)
Not sure what it is, but Kyle Anderson sure seems to love playing against the Warriors. In two games this season he's scored 38 and 42 fantasy points against them, as well as a game late last season where he put up 40 fantasy points. The Spurs are without Gasol tonight, so there is some extra usage to sprinkle around the starting crew so Anderson makes a decent option tonight against the Spurs who are ranked 29th against starting small forwards allowing 32 fantasy points a game.
Centers
Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN [vs BOS] (DK: $9.3k, FD: $10.4k)
Towns is likely a bit pissed off after being ejected in the 2nd quarter of last game for saying something to a ref, after he wasn't getting the foul calls earlier in the game. So, we'll get a determined Towns tonight who is well rested after only playing 20 minutes 6 days ago (whats up with the scheduling?). This is going to be a very physical game between the Timberwolves and Celtics with 214.5 total points and a very close 2 point spread in favor of Boston. As long as Towns can keep his emotions in check, he should be in line for a big game tonight.
Dwight Howard, CHA [vs BKN] (DK: $8.3k, FD: $8.4k)
Howard finally played 30 minutes last game, the first time in 6 games. It was a home game, and he has another home game tonight, so maybe they'll let him see some more of the floor again. The Nets are ranked dead last against starting centers, allowing 43 fantasy points per game. This game is slated with 218 total points and a 6.5 point spread in favor of the Hornets who are on a 4 game losing streak.
Steven Adams, OKC [vs PHO] (DK: $6.9k, FD: $7.1k)
Only play Adams if you think the Thunder are going to easily coast to victory against the Suns tonight. Which would also mean, do not pair Westbrook with Adams, as Adams does most of the work in easy games when they don't need Westbrook to do the heavy lifting. The Suns are ranked 29th against starting centers, allowing 38 fantasy points a game.
