Guards

Damian Lillard, POR [vs GS] (DK: $9.4k, FD: $9.7k)

The Warriors will be without Stephen Curry tonight, so Lillard will probably see both Livingston and Quinn Cook on him tonight. Livingston actually has a better defensive ranking that Curry but it's hard to take that without a grain of salt as he's seen much less action and mostly against second unit guys. This game has a high 221 point total with a very close 1 point spread in favor of the Warriors, without Curry on the court, Portland has a better shot at a win tonight. The Warriors were ranked 29th against starting point guards with Curry starting, so it's hard to see that improving with Cook starting.

Kris Dunn, CHI [@DET] (DK: $6.7k, FD: $7.4k)

The Bulls were in full on disaster mode for a while but after being shamed by the NBA for tanking, or whatever they were doing, they are now putting together a more solid starting lineup. With a legitimate starting lineup and decent supporting cast around him, Dunn is able to have big games. He put up 52 fantasy points against Detroit earlier in the season and The Pistons are ranked 27th against starting point guards allowing 37 fantasy points a game.

Shelvin Mack, ORL [@SAC] (DK: $3.8k, FD: $3.7k)

The Magic are going to be without Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier tonight, and D.J. Augustin is questionable with an ankle injury. Shelvin Mack is efficient with his time on the court and there is a good chance he can get some extra minutes tonight with these injuries. He's been seeing around 20 minutes a game, and could see 25-30 tonight in a backup role which would give him a chance to put up close to 30 fantasy points against the Kings weak second unit.

Forwards

Kevin Durant, GS [@POR] (DK: $8.9k, FD: $9.8k)

No Stephen Curry means a lot of usage and fantasy points to be had between Durant, Green, and Thompson. Durant has seen +3.6% usage and +7FP/48 minutes when Curry has missed a game this season. This game is slated with a very high 222.5 total points and a tight spread to make for a very exciting game. Durant and Green's ceiling without Curry is very high and in a high scoring game like this, you might want to just play both at their current salaries.

Nikola Mirotic, NO [vs WAS] (DK: $7k, FD: $6.7k)

The Pelicans are likely going to be without Anthony Davis tonight who is doubtful with an ankle sprain. The Pelicans haven't been without both Cousins and Davis in a game this season, so it's going to be up to Mirotic to do the heavy lifting tonight if he's up for it. He's a willy veteran and should be up for the task but the Pelicans also have some interesting options like Cheick Diallo available, who is much cheaper and should have a larger role tonight as well.

Mario Hezonja, ORL [@SAC] (DK: $4.2k, FD: $4.3k)

Aaron Gordon is dealing with a concussion and will not be playing tonight, which will put Hezonja into the starting lineup once again where he has thrived this season when given the opportunity. Fournier is out as well, which means more usage to sprinkle onto the starters tonight, including Hezonja. The Kings are weak against both small and power forward positions so whichever role he fills tonight he should be in line for a nice game.

Centers

Nikola Vucevic, ORL [@SAC] (DK: $8.3k, FD: $9.2k)

There are plenty of options on the Magic tonight, but Vucevic has the highest ceiling of all of them. No Gordon and Fournier means plenty of usage heading in Vuce's direction tonight against the Kings who can't slow down centers, ranked 25th against starting centers. Vuce thrives in pace down matchups, scoring 25% more fantasy points than his average.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR [vs HOU] (DK: $5.7k, FD: $6.7k)

Valanciunas has seen 26+ minutes in each of the last 3 games, and will likely be needed to play close to 30 minutes against the Rockets tonight in a very tight 2 point spread. The Rockets are ranked 20th against starting centers, allowing 32 fantasy points a game. Clint Capela is probable to play, but is dealing with a sore calf so it's possible he's a little more limited tonight and the Rockets don't really have a very good option beyond Capela to deal with Valanciunas.

JaVale McGee, GS [@POR] (DK: $3.5k, FD: $3.8k)

McGee has bee playing very well in very limited minutes while Bell and West have been out. Bell is out again, but West is questionable, so as long as these backups remain out. McGee is a decent flier on a Golden State team that is going to be without Curry as well, which could allow McGee to see a little more usage.
