Top NBA Plays 4/19 | Game 3's Coming Home

Thursday's NBA playoff games once again went down pretty much as expected with each favorite winning and covering the spread. Friday night's games might be a little harder to decipher as the visiting teams for Games 1 and 2 are back on their own court for the weekend. Let's see what DraftKings and Co. have laid out for value:

Tonight's DFS Headlines

The Celtics have quickly become a popular pick to advance from the Eastern Conference after starting their series 2-0. Regardless, Indiana is a -2.5 favorite in what is expected to be another low scoring contest (O/U 204).

The Magic were able to steal home court advantage in Game 1 at Toronto, but missed the memo that there was a Game 2, falling by 29 points. Can they survive the Raptors back home on Friday (ORL +5.5).

The Thunder have run into a buzzsaw in the Trail Blazers but are hoping that playing back in Oklahoma City can help them crawl back into the series (OKC -7.5).

Guards

Terrance Ross (DK: $5000 FD: $5500 Y! $19) Ownership: 19.3%

Here's hoping Terrance Ross finds his shot back at home on Friday. Well, he's found the shots, launching 21 through the first two games of the series vs. the Raptors but has hit just 7 of them. Ross scored 15 points even in the 29 point loss to Toronto on Tuesday, so it be would wise to get him into the mix early and often in Game 3. He's also averaging 38 fppg the last two games in Orlando.

Dennis Schroder (DK: $5200 FD: $5000 Y! $18) Ownership 9.8%

Is Oklahoma City in a potential blowout spot win on Friday night? The line doesn't seem like the Thunder should be favored by -7.5 after dropping the first two games of the series vs. Portland, including the last one by 20 points. Over 60% of the betting public likes the 'Blazers too, which is never good. A big OKC win should mean more usage for Dennis Schroder, who has a 36 and a 20 minute night so far. Schroder put up 7 three pointers in game 1 - and missed them all - but his shot should be better back at home. He did have 40+ fantasy points in 2 of 4 to close out the regular season, so the upside is there.

Schroder could have 10 - or 40 - fantasy points on Friday which is why you love him.

Tyreke Evans (DK: $4000 FD: $4700 Y! $10) Ownership 15.45%

Anything we can squeeze out of Tyreke Evans is going to be worthwhile here because his salary relief allows the addition of a big time upside player at the utility position. Evans hasn't been bad so far in the series - he's averaged 10 field goal attempts in the two games at Boston. With the teams shifting back to Indiana, expect some of those attempts to start falling. Evans is also averaging 6.5 rpg so far in the series, just need more minutes than his 18 mpg in Games 1 and 2.

Forwards

Pascal Siakam (DK: $7300 FD: $8500 Y!: $31) Ownership 14.8%

Pascal Siakam has been an integral part of the Raptors offense through the first two games of their series, posting 24 and 16 field goal attempts in Toronto. Siakam has also averaged 9.5 rebounds per game through the first two contests. His fantasy point production dropped from 47 in Game 1 to 35 in Game 2, but that's what happens when you win by nearly 30. Today should be a much closer affair.

Jayson Tatum (DK: $6100 FD: $6800 Y!: $25) Ownership 23.88%

There's great value on Jayson Tatum today even though Boston is going on the road for the 1st time in the series. Tatum has been a huge part of the offense in the first two contests at Boston, posting 11 and 20 field goal attempts. He has shot 6-9 from three point range so far in the series as well. Tatum hasn't done a lot of secondary scoring (3.5 rpg, 1 apg) but he logs a lot of minutes and gets shots.

The Pacers have a solid defense but there's potential for the Boston front court.

Aaron Gordon (DK: $6200 FD: $6700 Y! $28) Ownership 20.68%

People are souring on Aaron Gordon a bit as his salary has dropped $600 even though the Magic are heading back home for Game 3. Gordon shot well (8-12) even though Orlando was blown out in Game 2 and he grabbed 10 rebounds in Game 1. The Magic PF has now gone for over 30 fantasy points in 10 of the last 11 games and should see as many minutes as he wants tonight as Orlando tries to go up 2-1.

Center

Enes Kanter (DK: $6500, FD; $7300 Y!:$25 ) Ownership 26.88%

If, and that may be a big IF, Enes Kanter can stay out of foul trouble, he should put up great numbers. Kanter absolutely abused Steven Adams and the OKC front court in game 1 for 20 points and 18 rebounds (52 fp). Foul trouble limited him to 20 minutes in Game 2 and he absolutely destroyed lineups with just 11 fp. OKC knows they have to stop Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum to have any chance in this one, so that should leave plenty of opportunities for Kanter and Portland down low.

Utility Player

Paul George (DK:$8700 FD:$10400 Y!: $47) Ownership 28.4%

There's salary available for every player outside of Russell Westbrook but of Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, and Kawhi Leonard, it's only Paul George that has a home game. Everybody knows George's shoulder is hurting, but he's had the last 2 nights off. Plus, PG13 is still getting his shots (24,20) while also averaging 9 boards and that was in two tough road games in Portland.

It's playoff season and it's a great time for DFS success. For more discussion, feel free to check out Carl Taylor (@dailydogsports) on Twitter for sports betting talk and DFS news.
