It's a national holiday for those who like to partake in smoking marijuana, is that anything that can be worked into DFS angles for tonight? The Trail Blazers, Knicks, and Kings all host home games where weed is completely legal. Do we fade the T'Wolves, Clippers, and Hornets as a result?

We also don't know which players like to smoke (but perhaps we will tomorrow morning). Let's try to get into the green one way or the other tonight on this 5-game Tuesday docket.

Today's NBA Matchups

Magic @ Hawks (-12), O/U 217.5, 7:30 PM ET

Atlanta is in what should be a very winnable game against Orlando, who has lost 8 of their last 9. The Hawks also play in New York tomorrow night though, so do they preserve some minutes here?

Hornets @ Knicks (-5.5), O/U 208, 7:30 PM ET

Rough betting total of 208 in this one, but on a shorter slate, you have to take a look. The Knicks have won six straight, and New Yorkers are starting to say "Yankees Who" this Spring.

Nets @ Pelicans (-3), O/U 234.5, 7:30 PM ET

2nd highest betting total of the night and looking like a Kyrie Irving game as Kevin Durant is going to sit after injuring his thigh 4 minutes into the game with Miami on Sunday. The Pelicans have dropped three straight, and are 3.5 games behind San Antonio for the 10 seed and the play-in game.

Clippers (-7) @ Trail Blazers, O/U 223.5, 10:00 PM ET

Damian Lillard will miss his third straight game with a hamstring injury, and Jusuf Nurkic (rest) is also out. In a better matchup, it would be a Portland target night, but the Clips' are stingy.

Timberwolves @ Kings (-3.5), O/U 238, 10:00 PM ET

Great 🎯Target Game🎯 on a short slate with a betting total of 238. Minnesota has allowed 124+ in 5 of 7, and the Kings have given up 122+ in 3 of 5.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

De'Aaron Fox DK $9.8k | FD $9.9k

vs. Minnesota

De'Aaron Fox may have more upside than Kyrie Irving tonight, even though Irving gets all the usage without Durant and Harden. D-Fox has hit the perfect lineup in five straight, and PGs are +113 in the +/- over Minnesota in the last 20 games. A Kings backcourt stack is in play on the 5-game slate.

Bogdan Bogdanovic DK $7.8k | FD $7.1k

vs. Orlando

You worry about the blowout here against Orlando and the fact that the Hawks have to prep for Memphis tomorrow night, but at the same time, Atlanta is pretty thin and doesn't have a lot of bench players to use. That puts Bogdan Bogdanovic in for a nice matchup, launching 18 times in four straight even with John Collins back last game. SGs are +152 vs. the Magic the last month, and Orlando is 26th vs. the position over that time.

Derrick Rose DK $5.1k | FD $5.8k

vs. Charlotte

Derrick Rose is shooting more in this Knicks offense lately and likes the momentum of New York being on a winning streak. Rose logged 35 minutes on Sunday and took 17 shots. Thibodeau's usage is very volatile, but those are good numbers heading into a matchup with a Charlotte team down Graham, Ball, and Monk in the backcourt.

🍺Other Likes🍕 - Buddy Hield ($6.8k) as Minnesota has allowed 45+fp to three of the last five SG, ranking 28th at the position over the last month. Kevin Huerter ($5.6k) is in the same spot as Bogdanovic, and coming off a 46fp game. Lou Williams ($4.5k) could pop off in garbage time minutes in an Atlanta blowout and reserves are +631 vs. the Magic over the last month.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Julius Randle DK $10.1k | FD $9.4

vs. Charlotte

There's a lot of people pivoting off Julius Randle tonight, largely in part because he's broken the $10k barrier on DK, but also because he hasn't broken 40fp in four straight games vs. Charlotte.

That includes 11/5/5 (25fp) vs. the Hornets on January 11th, but the Knicks were on the b2b and in the midst of a 5-game losing streak. New York is red hot right now though, mostly due to Randle who is 2nd in the league to only Steph Curry averaging 36.3 ppg over the last week.

Chuma Okeke DK $5.5k | FD $5.4k

@ Atlanta

Get here if Chuma Okeke has found his role with this Magic team. He played 33 minutes and shot 17 times against Houston on Sunday for 32 fp. Sure that could be a once-off, but Atlanta is going to play tonight's game half-heartedly as they're already looking ahead to Memphis tomorrow night. The Hawks are also giving up 30ffpg to opposing PFs over the last month. Okeke could definitely be cheaper, but not on this short docket.

Bruce Brown DK $4.9k | FD $4.8k

@New Orleans

If Bruce Brown doesn't hit tonight, he's a good play tomorrow at the Raptors. The Nets have 7 guys on the injury report and are up against a Pelicans team that has the 4th worst bench defense in the league. Brown has 30+ fp in three of the last six, including 36 vs. the Pels on April 7th.

🍺Other Likes🍕 - Zion Williamson ($9.7k) hasn't broken 60fp in five games but plays a Brooklyn team that is 30th vs. the PF. Dwayne Bacon ($4.2k) coming off a 35fp night and in an up-tempo game vs. Atlanta. Terrance Davis ($3.3k) hit 9 of 12 in 30+ minutes off the bench last time out which should warrant more minutes vs. Minnesota.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Enes Kanter DK $6.1k | FD $5.5k

vs. Clippers

The matchup isn't great against the Clippers, but Jusuf Nurkic (rest) is out meaning Enes Kanter is back to big minutes. Damian Lillard is also out for Portland, meaning a usage bump. When Kanter plays, he produces - grabbing 45 rebounds the last two games with 30+ minutes. One of those games was at the Clippers on April 6th, when Kanter finished with 38fp.

PJ Washington DK $5.4k | FD $6.5k

@New York

PJ Washington got 17 shots on Sunday in his first game back from injury. He doesn't have the greatest matchup vs. the Knicks, but New York is also allowing 10+ rebounds/game to opposing C's over the last month. Washington is a scorer, so if he can get some board numbers to go with that we're looking at 7X+ on DK.
