Top NBA Plays 4/22 | All Hands on Deck

There are only two games on tonight's NBA card, but it actually might present a great opportunity to dig into all 40 or so players in action today. With it being Game 4 of a playoff series, it also presents an extra in-depth possibility for an optimum lineup. Usage and production are pinpointed for every player - so let's see what we have on tap:

Tonight's DFS Headlines

The Bucks moving on to the 2nd round seems like an inevitability at this point. Detroit has lost all three games of the series by at least 16 points and Pistons players might be a hard DFS sell, as they've been held to 103 points in each game so far.

The Jazz played much better in Game 3, but ultimately still fell to Houston to go down 0-3 in their series. The Rockets are -3 road favorites for Game 4 after being +2 underdogs on Saturday night.

Guards

Reggie Jackson (DK: $5100 FD: $6300 Y! $19) Ownership: 19.3%

There's solid value on Reggie Jackson today as the Pistons try to keep their season alive. Jackson has gone for 34+ fantasy points in each of the last two games and has posted field goal attempts of 15, 16, and 14 so far in the series. The Detroit PG has also dished out 8 assists in each of the last two games.

Jackson has been a solid player in this series despite Detroit being down 0-3

Donovan Mitchell (DK: $7900 FD: $9200 Y! $36) Ownership 39.08%

It's hero ball time for Donovan Mitchell as the Jazz are facing elimination on their own court. Mitch fired up 27 shots in Game 3 including 12 three pointers (9-27, 4-12). The Jazz G was also driving to the hoop a lot, making it to the free throw line 17 times. Expect more of the same on Monday as Mitchell puts Utah on his back trying to get to Game 5.

Eric Gordon (DK: $4700 FD: $5100 Y! $15) Ownership 32.75%

The upside is there for Eric Gordon - he plays 30+ minutes a game and gets at least 10 shots - but the production really hasn't been. Gordon hasn't scored more than 27 fantasy points so far in the series vs. Utah. He has shot 9-19 from three point range however, hitting three treys in each game. What we need is a game where Utah gets out to a big lead and Houston has to start launching to get back into it - and it's now or never for the Jazz as they are facing elimination.

Forwards

Khris Middleton (DK: $6500 FD: $8000 Y!: $33) Ownership 31.1%

There's great value for Khris Middleton on DraftKings, as he has gone for 44 and 38 fantasy points the last two games vs. Detroit. Middleton had 20 points in just 29 minutes on Saturday - the 7th time he has gone for 20+ in the last 8 games. Middleton also has at least 4 assists and 5 rebounds in all three of the contests vs. Detroit so far. If the Pistons could just keep one of these games close, a 45-50 point fantasy night isn't out of the question for Middleton.

Middleton has been on a solid run the last 3 weeks.

Luke Kennard (DK: $4900 FD: $5000 Y!: $13) Ownership 26.5%

Luke Kennard offers salary relief with production upside today. Kennard has logged 35 and 37 minutes since moving into the starting lineup in place of Bruce Brown. Kennard scored just 9 points in Game 3 as his production took a hit with the return of Blake Griffin, but he went for 19 points in Game 2 at Milwaukee. Kennard has 30+ fantasy points in 3 of the last 4, let's see if he can do it again even with Griffin on the court.

P.J. Tucker (DK: $4500 FD: $5700 Y! $13) Ownership 20.68%

P.J. Tucker was able to find his way in the Houston offense in Game 3, hoisting up 11 shots while also grabbing 10 rebounds. Tucker had 8 field goal attempts in each of the first two games and has logged 32, 34, and 35 minutes, which means that's a lot of court time for the price...on DraftKings at least. Tucker has shot 9/20 from three point range in the series so far which is a nice amount of deep ones for a guy who can also give you a double digit rebound night.

Center

Andre Drummond (DK: $8400, FD; $9700 Y!:$47 ) Ownership 85.9%

Andre Drummond costs a bit more than Rudy Gobert and Clint Capela at the C position tonight but he's been absolutely killing Milwaukee on the boards with 12, 16, and 12 so far in the series. Griffin is back, but also still battling that troublesome knee. Drummond has gotten more offensive opportunities the last two games (14 and 15 fga) as Detroit tries to get at least one win and that trend should continue in Game 4.

Got to like that upside from the Drum Major

Utility Player

Blake Griffin (DK:$7700 FD:$9100 Y!: $34) Ownership 20.04%

Blake Griffin is a GTD today but it's hard to see him sitting out with the Pistons' season on the line. Griffin tried to carry Detroit in his first action of the series on Saturday, putting up 24 shots. He looked a bit rusty in only hitting 10 of them but Griffin also dished out 6 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds for a 49 point fantasy night when he was only projected for 24.

It's playoff season and it's a great time for DFS success. For more discussion, feel free to check out Carl Taylor (@dailydogsports) on Twitter for sports betting talk and DFS news.
