Top NBA Plays 4/27| Weird Times are Here

Tuesday's 6-game slate could best be described as weird. We've got blowouts, back-to-backs, and rest days so really this one could fall a number of ways. Let's enjoy the ride.

Today's NBA Matchups

Thunder @ Celtics (-10.5), O/U 215.5, 7:00 PM ET

Great spot for the Celtics to 'get right' after losing 3 of 4 including by 21 to Charlotte on Sunday. Boston has a rematch with the Hornets tomorrow night though, so some Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker are getting rest vs. an OKC team that is on the b2b and lost by 31 to the 76ers last night, their 14th straight defeat.

Bucks (-9.5) @ Hornets, O/U 223.5, 7:00 PM ET

Don't instantly count the Hornets out of this one, as they did get red hot in the 125-104 win over Boston on Sunday where four players scored 20+ real points. The Bucks lost 111-104 to Atlanta on Sunday, but that was on the b2b.

Trail Blazers (-4.5) @ Pacers, O/U 234.5, 7:00 PM ET

Portland really shouldn't be favored against anybody right now (OK, maybe OKC) especially going East of the Mississippi. That tells you just how much the Pacers are a) banged up and b) horrible on the post. Mason Plumlee had 21 rebounds vs. Indiana over the weekend.

Nets (-6.5) @ Raptors, O/U 231.5, 7:30 PM ET

Kevin Durant ($8.3k) has stayed under $9k after his 53fp in 28 minute performance Sunday vs. Phoenix. Any chance this one gets ugly for the Nets though as Toronto is on 0 days rest?

Timberwolves (-1.5) @ Rockets, O/U 229.5 7:00 PM ET

Minnesota completed the season sweep of Utah with a 105-104 win last night. How much do they have left in the tank with a trip to Houston the next night - and does it matter as the Rockets really are playing a G-League rotation right now. These are the types of games the Wolves usually lose though.

Mavericks @ Warriors (PK), O/U 225.5, 9:30 PM ET

Seems like a strange PK game considering the Mavs lost 106-113 to the Kings last night even though Sacramento was on the back to back. Golden State at the same time has won 3 of 4, so there are weird things afoot here.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Steph Curry DK $10.3k | FD $9.7k

vs. Dallas

There are worse plays out there than Steph Curry at home against a Mavs team playing on 0 days rest. Dallas has a 40fp floor to the last five PGs they've faced, and Curry went for 75fp against them in early February.

Malcolm Brogdon DK $8.8k | FD $8.5k

vs. Portland

There's 6X potential for Malcolm Brogdon tonight against Portland's backcourt defense. The Pacers are still missing Sabonis and others, and in the process, Brogdon has 20+ shots in 4 of the last 5. He's hit for 62 in the past week against OKC, so the upside is there.

Evan Fournier DK $5k | FD $5.2k

vs. OKC

Big breakout game potential for Evan Fournier, as Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum are sitting tonight, and he plays OKC. He's back to the familiar starting role and doesn't need much for value at that price.

🍺Other Likes🍕 - Jaylen Brown ($8.4k) in an easy matchup with OKC and without Tatum and Walker.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Giannis Antetokounmpo DK $10.7k | FD $11k

@Charlotte

The Hornets will probably keep this one closer than expected - which is a good thing. Milwaukee is coming off a loss to Atlanta but is still only 3.5 GB of Brooklyn for the 1 seed. Giannis Antetokounsmpo has 14+ rebounds in three straight, which has helped him go for 58+ fp in each of those. Antetokounmpo has 70+ in his last two vs. Charlotte - let's go for three.

Christian Wood DK $8k | FD $7.7k

vs. Minnesota

Houston is basically Christian Wood's team now with John Wall shut down, and he's coming off a rest game and against a Minnesota team on the back to back. The T'Wolves rank 27th vs. the PF over the past month.

🍺Other Likes🍕 - Kevin Durant ($8.3k) very efficient and still under $9k.

Miles Bridges ($7.5k) - has hit for 36+fp in three of the last four and gets an up tempo game with Milwaukee tonight.

Draymond Green ($7.4k) has hit for 42+ fp in both games with Dallas this year, and the Mavs are on the b2b.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Jusuf Nurkic DK $6.8k | FD $8.2k

@ Indiana

Great DK price for Jusuf Nurkic, who is eating lately with 60 and 54 fp. He's got the Pacers who have allowed 20+ rebounds to two of the last five C's they've faced.

Kelly Olynyk DK $6.6k | FD $6k

vs. Minnesota

Kelly Olynyk has had the last two nights off (+48% well-rested boost) and gets a Minnesota team on the b2b. Olynyk has gone for 47+ in consecutive games and there's no more John Wall usage to worry about.
