Top NBA Plays 4/30 | Contrasting Conference Plays

For the most part in these NBA playoffs, the Eastern Conference has been known for lock down defensive games that barely break 185 total points while the Western Conference has been more run and gun. That might appear the same for Tuesday's 2-game slate, but totals-wise the Celtics / Bucks (O/U 219.5) and Rockets / Warriors (O/U 220.5) would suggest some similar performances in each:

Tonight's DFS Headlines

The Celtics stole Game 1 at Milwaukee where the Bucks are an astonishing 35-9 on the season. Boston is 5-0 in these playoffs and are going to draw a lot of action as +7.5 underdogs.

The Rockets continued their strong postseason defensive play, but ultimately fell in a scratch-and-claw contest 100-104 to Golden State. The Warriors are favored by -5.5 tonight just like they were in Game 1.

Guards

Eric Gordon (DK: $5300 FD: $5500 Y! $18) Ownership: 31.9%

There's pretty solid value on Eric Gordon in Game 2 after he's put together two very solid postseason outings in a row. In Game 1, Gordon hit 10-19 shots for 27 points (37 fp) which could have actually been much better as he was just 4-13 from three point range. Gordon had 30 fp in the closeout game vs. Utah and has logged at least 37 minutes the last four tilts.

Khris Middleton (DK: $6500 FD: $7500 Y! $31) Ownership 35.2%

A) lock in Khris Middleton for a very reasonable $6500 b) get your 30-35+ fantasy points guaranteed and c) turn this into an 8 player lineup (on DK). Middleton has had a very solid postseason, posting two 40+ fantasy point nights over his last four games including Sunday's 16/10/6 line. The lowest tally Middleton has posted in the playoffs is 25 fp but the Bucks had a 23 point win over Detroit in Game 4 of Round 1. Boston is going to keep this close, giving Middleton the value.

Whether at SG or SF there's solid upside for Middleton on Tuesday.

Eric Bledsoe (DK: $5800 FD: $7400 Y! $30) Ownership 34.77%

Terry Rozier is Eric Bledsoe's Thanos. After "mistakenly" calling Bledsoe "Drew" during last year's postseason matchup, Rozier is obviously in the Bucks PG's head. It showed in game 1 as Bledsoe was 18 fantasy points (while Rozier scored 28 off the bench). If there was ever a time for an End Game, it's in Milwaukee on Tuesday because the Boston crowd is not going to be kind to Bledsoe on Friday. Bledsoe had a 50 point fantasy night in Game 2 vs. Detroit in Round 1, is another redemption coming here?

Forwards

Jaylen Brown (DK: $4800 FD: $5100 Y!: $18) Ownership 29.35%

It's hard not to absolutely love Jaylen Brown for under $5000 on DK. Brown has put together three very solid postseason games including Sunday's 19 point, 4 rebound performance. Brown had 23/7 and 13/6 the last two games in Round 1 vs. a tough Pacers defense. He had 14 field goal attempts in 36 minutes while also battling some foul trouble (4) in Game 1 vs. Milwaukee and there's no reason to think those numbers can't be even better tonight.

Draymond Green (DK: $6600 FD: $8100 Y!: $29) Ownership 39.16%

FanDuel definitely respects Draymond Green. Although he may be a bit undersized vs. Houston's Clint Capela, Green posed obvious matchup problems as he went for 14/9/9 in the starting C spot. That followed up a 16/14/10 line in the closeout game vs. the Clippers so Green definitely has postseason mode activated, averaging 50 fp the last two.

Green is loving his time at the C spot.

Gordon Hayward (DK: $5200 FD: $5900 Y! $20) Ownership 21.84%

Monday night's perfect DFS lineup included a 22 and two 26.5 fp scorers, so Gordon Hayward doesn't have to completely go off to have value. Hayward has put together some solid performances lately, busting for 20 points in Game 4 at Indiana and putting up a respectable 13/4/5 line in Game 1 vs. the Bucks. He's gone for at least 28 fp in 3 of 5 postseason games so far, which makes the play worthwhile.

Center

Al Horford (DK: $6800, FD; $7000 Y!:$25 ) Ownership 29%

The center position is very light tonight and Al Horford is actually the highest priced player at that position despite being under $7000 on DK. The big man had a great Game 1 vs. Milwaukee and Brook Lopez and has actually put together a solid postseason all around. Horford had 20 points and 11 rebounds Sunday which was good for 49 fantasy points. He has now gone for 34+ fp in 4 of 5 games this postseason, 4 of which were played vs. the stingy Indiana defense. The Bucks could have a real weak spot in the post and Horford seems hungry in these playoffs.

Horford is a very heart warming play for Tuesday.

Utility Player

Kevin Durant (DK:$9100 FD:$11400 Y!: $42) Ownership 51.28%

If this is Kevin Durant's last postseason with Golden State, at least he's enjoying it. Durant actually had what would be considered a 'down' outing in Game 1 vs. Houston and that's with a 35/5/3 line. That's because Durant scored a combined 95 points in the two games prior vs. the Clippers which equaled back-to-back 70 point fantasy nights. 50 would be solid tonight, 60 would be great, but 70 isn't out of the question, especially with the Golden State backcourt hurting.
