The 8-game Friday NBA slate once again comes down to who's in and who's out. Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Trae Young, Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker, and Nikola Vucevic are all iffy to play tonight.

We're used to the uncertainty though, so let's see who might fall into some key slots if these players do end up sitting.

Today's NBA Matchups

Hawks @ Sixers (-9.5), O/U 221.5, 7:00 PM ET

Philadelphia seems like they're favored by a bit too much here but Atlanta is really banged up and just lost this matchup 127-83 on Wednesday.

Spurs @ Celtics (4.5) O/U 224.5, 7:30 PM ET

Boston has lost 3 of 4, including a 119-115 defeat at home to the Thunder. That puts the Spurs in a great spot as they've won 5 of 7, and the Celtics will likely be without Kemba Walker (oblique) again.

Wizards (-6.5) @ Cavs, O/U 226.5, 7:30 PM ET

Cleveland gets the best pace boost of the night, but it's Washington that should be the target as they've won 9 of their last 10 - that defeat being in OT and on the back to back. It's possible Collin Sexton (concussion) comes back tonight but will it matter?

Trail Blazers (-1) @ Nets, O/U 240.5, 8:00 PM ET

Steve Nash is leaning towards resting Kevin Durant on the back to back, but Kyrie Irving (groin) is expected to return after missing last night's win over the Pacers. Portland has scored 130+ in consecutive games, but with balance and not just Damian Lillard going off.

Magic @ Grizzlies (-10.5), O/U 224.5 8:00 PM ET

The Magic are coming off a rare win - but against Cleveland. It's looking like a breeze night for Memphis, who gets Orlando tomorrow as well.

Bucks (-4.5) @ Bulls, O/U 220.5, 9:00 PM ET

The spread seems somewhat low for Milwaukee, but there's a lot of unknowns in this game with both Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) and Nikola Vucevic (hip) being GTDs for this one. Chicago could be a target though, as the Bucks gave up 143 points to Houston last night.

Jazz @ Suns (-4.5), O/U 222.5 10:00 PM ET

This Western Conference showdown loses a little luster with Mike Conley (hamstring) joining Donovan Mitchell (ankle) on the injured list. Utah still put up 154 last time out, but the Suns can move into a tie for the 1 seed with a win at home.

Kings @ Lakers (-9.5), O/U 222.5, 10:30 PM ET

Teams against Sacramento are a target the rest of the year, as the Kings just gave up 154 to Utah last time out.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Kyrie Irving DK $9.4k | FD $9.8k

vs. Portland

Kyrie Irving sat out last night's game with a groin injury, but it also could've been just a preservation game with the back to back. Durant did play, and he's likely to sit tonight giving Irving a usage bump against Portland's 25th ranked defense vs. the PG spot.

Darius Garland DK $8k | FD $7.8k

vs. WAS

As long as Collin Sexton (concussion) this is a great spot for Darius Garland with the best pace boost of the night. Garland has launched 20+ shots in 3 of the last 4, going for 45+ fp in each of those.

Donte DiVincenzo DK $4.8k | FD $5.3k

@Chicago

Kind of a reach, but it's a solid matchup for Donte DiVincenzo against a Bulls defense that is 27th vs. the SG. He could also see a boost if Antetokounmpo sits, but the Bulls have allowed 43+ fp to 4 of the past 5 SGs they've faced, allowing over 33fp to the position over the past month.

🍺Other Likes🍕 - Devin Booker ($7.9k) should be in a close game with the Jazz, who rank 30th vs. the SG over the past month. He's +26% in up pace games as well.

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Jaylen Brown DK $8.8k | FD $8.5

vs. San Antonio

The matchup isn't the greatest because the Spurs have done a fairly good job of stopping opposing SFs lately. Jaylen Brown is transcending matchups right now though, getting a 3% usage and 6fp bump with Kemba Walker out of the lineup. As a result, he's hit 58+ fp in two straight, making the perfect lineup in both while averaging 24.5 shots.

John Collins DK $7.3k | FD $6.6k

vs. Philadelphia

We need a) Atlanta to keep this one close and b) the dozen or so players who are GTD for the Hawks all to sit out. Then it should be an upside game for John Collins, not only because of the increased usage but because Philadelphia is surprisingly 28th defensively vs. the PF over the past month.

Norman Powell DK $6.3k | FD $6.5k

@ Brooklyn

Throw out a 2 fp game in a 21-point win over the Pacers and it looks like Norman Powell may be finding his way with this Portland team over the past couple of games. He's hovered around 6X in those two and gets a solid matchup vs. a Nets team missing Durant and on the back to back. Brooklyn ranks 21st defensively vs. the SF, allowing 30ffpg.

🍺Other Likes🍕 - Khris Middleton ($7.9k) is a solid play if Antetokounmpo sits. SFs are +125 vs. SFs the past month.

Kevin Love ($6.5k) hit for 34fp last time out despite going 2-11 from the field. He's got an up-pace game (+45%) vs. the iffy Washington defense.

Kyle Kuzma ($6.1k) gets a matchup with the horrible Kings defense, who he's gone for 50fp and 41fp against this season.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Andre Drummond DK $7.5k | FD $7.3k

vs. Sacramento

Andre Drummond is averaging 48.5 fppg when the Lakers are favored, and Sacramento is horrible on defense. The Kings are giving up 34fppg to opposing C's so 40 should be the floor for the Lakers big man.

Tristan Thompson DK $5.6k | FD $4.6k

vs. San Antonio

Nice price for the matchup for Tristan Thompson, coming off a 13 rebound performance (37fp) last time out. He's got the Spurs, who gave up 35 fp in 24 minutes to Alex Len recently. San Antonio is allowing 38ffpg to C's over the past month, 28th in the league.
