Top NBA Plays 4/4| Yikes! But Maybe Not Really

Two things stand out about tonight's NBA DFS card. First, there are only three games on the slate after Wednesday's blowout extravaganza. Second, some of the teams in action include the Cavs, Kings, and Lakers which on paper sounds scary, but in reality could be a solid daily fantasy scoring night.

Tonight's DFS Headlines

Defense is optional when the Cavs visit the Kings with an O/U of 228.5.

The M*A*S*H unit known as the Lakers is, on paper, set to get their brains kicked in when LA hosts Golden State today.

The Bucks visiting the Sixers actually has potential to be a big game - who knew? That's especially true as the O/U continues to climb all day.

Guards

George Hill (DK: $3400 FD: $3900 Y! $10) Ownership: 2.96%

George Hill has upside for the price as he has taken a more expanded role in the Bucks offense the last two games, taking 11 and 15 shots. Hill has posted back-to-back 30+ fantasy point games which should stay steady even as Khris Middleton is probable to return to the lineup after missing the last two with a groin injury.

Rajon Rondo (DK: $6600 FD: $7500 Y! $27) Ownership 16.77%

Rajon Rondo had another solid all around night on Tuesday, although you would have wished for more than 35 fp vs. the OKC defense. Even so, Rondo has a chance to get back on track vs. Golden State today. The Warriors have been better defensively vs. the PG lately, but Rondo still went for 12/8/11 when the teams met up in early February and that was with Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram in the lineup.

Rondo had posted back-to-back 50+ fp nights as the Lakers finish the season with a depleted lineup.

Jordan Clarkson (DK: $5700 FD: $6500 Y! $16) Ownership 0.84%

Whether Cleveland gets dominated on Thursday or keeps things close vs. Sacramento, Jordan Clarkson has plenty of upside and value for another productive night. He has at least 15 field goal attempts in three straight games and has gone for 20+ in back-to-back games. The Cavs offense normally doesn't score a lot, but they should get a boost with the positive pace differential that playing the Kings provides.

Forwards

Marvin Bagley III (DK: $6400 FD: $7500 Y!: $29) Ownership 7.08%

Marvin Bagley III rested Sunday as Sacramento was in a B2B but he returned Tuesday and shot 18 times in 28 minutes while grabbing 8 boards. Bagley has value vs. Cleveland, as the Cavs defense ranks 23rd in scoring and last in opponents field goal percentage.

With just a three game slate you go with the upside of Bagley vs. Cleveland.

Jimmy Butler (DK: $7000 FD: $8100 Y!: $37) Ownership 37.65%

Jimmy Butler is on the B2B, which isn't ideal, but he's also back at home and vs. the #1 seed in the East in Milwaukee. When the Sixers met the Bucks on March 17th, Butler went for 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists and that was while battling foul trouble and with Joel Embiid in the lineup stealing 40 points.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (DK: $6300 FD: $6600 Y! $18) Ownership 4.41%

Sacramento hosts Cleveland Thursday as significant -9.5 favorites. The Cavs have had two nights off, however, and have the potential to keep this one close. Blowout or tight game, it should mean minutes for Bogdan Bogdanovic who has potential as evidenced by his 49 fantasy point night Saturday vs. the Rockets. The Kings up-pace offense should have a good night as Cleveland has allowed at least 116 points to five straight opponents.

Center

Jonah Bolden (DK: $4600, FD; $5000 Y!:$13 ) Ownership 22.49%

Joel Embiid is proable to return, but could be soemwhat limited tonight, which means Jonah Bolden could get one last chance to shine. It's a bit of a risky play as Philadelphia played in Atlanta last night, but Bolden has put up 37+ fantasy points in 2 of the last 3 and that was all on the road. He should get a boost from being back home and he also logged just 24 minutes Wednesday vs. Atlanta.

There are some favorable trends on Bolden's side in this one.

Utility Player

Stephen Curry (DK:$8900 FD:$9500 Y!: $42) Ownership 24.92%

Here's banking on the Staples Center magic for Stephen Curry. Golden State is in a very big blowout spot as -13 favorites at the Lakers but it shouldn't take Curry long to get his in front of the stars.

It'd be OK if Curry puts up a near 90 point night like Westbrook just had vs. the Lakers.

It's one of the last weeks for a full full sports slate that includes the NBA regular season, so let's enjoy it. For more discussion, feel free to check out Carl Taylor (@dailydogsports) on Twitter for sports betting talk and DFS news.
