The Jazz and Suns gave us a playoff preview last night, with Phoenix winning 117-113 in OT as both squads had numerous clutch shots. One thing about regular season barn burners like that is that it makes it a bit tough to get amped up for Cleveland at OKC tonight.

Another thing facing both Utah and Phoenix tonight is that they have to go their separate ways, and both have tough games with the Jazz hosting Portland and the Suns visiting the Clippers. Are we in for a huge letdown from those squads tonight (and thus target POR and LAC)?

Today's NBA Matchups

Lakers @ Heat (-8), O/U 204, 7:30 PM ET

This one looks like a DFS eyesore, as the Heat have held 3 of the last 5 opponents to 101 points or less. The Lakers have scored 104 or less in 5 of the last 7. The betting total of 204 agrees on this ugliness.

Bulls (-4.5) @ Raptors, O/U 219, 7:30 PM ET

Toronto is bad, but Chicago seems like a strange road favorite here. That must mean most of the players on the Bulls' injury report do give it a go.

Cavaliers (-3.5) @ Thunder, O/U 214, 8:00 PM ET

OKC's defense wasn't as horrible last night, losing 113-102 to Charlotte after allowing 130+ in three games prior. The Cavs are still a target here though, having 2 nights off playing a Thunder team on the back to back.

Bucks @ Mavericks (-1), O/U 228, 9:00 PM ET

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is questionable tonight, does the fact that the Bucks are wrapping up a 6-game West Coast swing and play Charlotte tomorrow night affect his status? Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis both logged 36+ in last night's inexplicable loss to the Rockets.

Trail Blazers @ Jazz (-6), O/U 230, 10:00 PM ET

Utah is on the short turnaround after an OT loss to the Suns last night. Oddsmakers still like the Jazz big here after Portland has lost by 17 to the Clippers and 18 to Milwaukee over their last three games.

Suns @ Clippers (-5.5), O/U 222.5, 10:00 PM ET

Phoenix pushed their win streak to 7 and closed the Western Conference gap to 1.5 games with their win over the Jazz last night, but oddsmakers aren't expecting much left in the tank making the Clippers the favorite on TNT tonight.

Pistons @ Kings (-4.5), O/U 228, 10:00 PM ET

Decent betting total considering the Pistons are 13th overall in scoring defense. They've allowed 120+ in 3 of 5 though, including 134 to Denver on Tuesday. The Kings have had two nights off after their return to the West Coast following a 10-point loss at Minnesota.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Damian Lillard DK $9.5k | FD $9.2k

The Jazz held Damian Lillard to 20 real points in the season opener, but tonight the Portland guard gets a Utah team on the back to back. Lillard tore up the Jazz last season though, scoring 42, 51, and 34 real points. Possibly some low ownership here so let's get back on track.

Jrue Holiday DK $8.1k | FD $8.8k

@Dallas

There's a slight chance Antetokounmpo (knee) doesn't play as the Bucks wrap up a 6-game West Coast swing and also host Charlotte tomorrow night. Jrue Holiday hit for his 5th straight 40+ fp game on Tuesday, and really only failed to get back to 6X because of 8 turnovers. The Mavs are also on the b2b, and gave up 57fp to John Wall last night at the PG spot.

Darius Garland DK $6.5k | FD $6.8k

@Oklahoma City

Might as well run it back on Darius Garland after his 37 point, 7 assist game on Monday. That's two days of rest against an OKC team on the back to back,

OG Anunoby DK $7k | FD $8

vs. Chicago

Is there an 👍🏾Ejection Angle👍🏾or a 💰Post Fine Game💰? Either way, OG Anunoby is in that spot after getting the boot after just 10 minutes vs. the Lakers on Tuesday. What he's done is given himself (and Pascal Siakam) value with Fred VanVleet and De'Andre Bemby suspended for tonight's game with the Bulls.

Harrison Barnes DK $6.4k | FD $6.3k

vs. Detroit

Harrison Barnes has had a couple 20+ real point outings over his last three, and he's up against a Pistons team that have allowed at least 124 points in 3 of their last 5. That includes Detroit giving up 29/8 to Julius Randle and 25/7 to Michael Porter, Jr. in the front court over their last three. Jerami Grant (knee) is also out for the Pistons.

Kenrich Williams DK $5.2k | FD $4.9k

vs. Cleveland

There's upside on Kenrich Williams who had 36fp last night vs. Charlotte despite a 2-12 shooting night. The OKC 9-man rotation may be down even more if Aleksej Pokusevic's hip injury flares up on 0 days rest, and Williams posting 9 assists and 9 boards vs. the Hornets is optimistic.

Taurean Prince DK $4.1k | FD $5.8k

@OKC

No chance on FD, but Taurean Prince has great upside on DK as he seems to be finding his way in this Cleveland rotation. Prince is averaging 16.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg the last two, and should continue to see a usage boost with Larry Nance (illness) out. Playing a bad OKC team that is also on the b2b doesn't hurt either.

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Nikola Vucevic DK $9.1k | FD $9.9k

@ Toronto

Nikola Vucevic should still be a DK option, as he only needs 54fp for 6X. In the last two games the Raptors have allowed 30fp to Alex Len (16.25 average) and 38fp to Marc Gasol (17.25 average). Coming off 29fga, 17 reb, and 5 ast vs. Indiana - it would be hard to imagine Vucevic not going for 60+ here.

Enes Kanter DK $6.1k | FD $5.8k

@Utah

There's a chance Jusuf Nurkic plays for Portland here, but the Trail Blazers would be dumb to overstrain the big man's sore knee. That gives Enes Kanter some value up against a short turnaround Rudy Gobert. Kanter continues to dominate when he gets an opportunity, grabbing 15 and 17 rebounds the last two games. The Jazz have allowed 34+ fp to four straight C's not named Maxi Kleber.
