We've got our target game for the night as the Rockets at Kings betting total is pushing 240. With the 10:00 PM tip, that means it's going to be a late slate night but hey, it's Friday and these are two of the three worst defenses in points allowed so they are worth staying up for.

We've also got Joel Embiid with a 70-burger 🍔 last time he played the Celtics, Domantas Sabonis somewhat inexplicably always dominating the Suns, Klay Thompson resting on the back to back in Chicago, Jimmy Butler may be returning in Miami, and the Grizzlies shooting for their 12th W in a row.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Magic @ Hornets (-10.5) , O/U 224.5 7:00 ET

Orlando is on a little skid as losers of 10 in a row, and they'll be short in the post once again with Wendell Carter, Jr. (hamstring), and Mo Bamba (toe) likely to miss this contest. Normally the Magic would still be a target in this matchup but the Hornets defense has suddenly turned into the 1989 Pistons in limiting the Bucks and Sixers to under 100 points their last two games.

Suns (-5.5) @ Pacers, O/U 222.5 7:00 ET

Domantas Sabonis ($10.1k) loses some value with Malcolm Brogdon returning from his Achilles injury last game, but the Indiana big man still needs a look after averaging 25 points and 17.5 rebounds in two matchups with the Suns last year. Phoenix looks too balanced to target right now with all five starters scoring in double figures last game but none with over 20 points.

Celtics @ Sixers (-3), O/U 212 7:00 ET

Joel Embiid ($11.2k) is the highest priced player on the slate likely because he went for 41/10/5 vs. Boston on December 20th (73fp) and also has an 18 rebound performance against the C's on 12/1. Boston has a ceiling of 30.5 points allowed to Jakob Poeltl over the last 5 centers they've faced though.

Warriors @ Bulls (-3.5), O/U 221.5 7:30 ET

Klay Thompson is out tonight as the Warriors play game two of a back to back which is fine by the Bulls because he hit 14 three-pointers in a visit to the United Center back in 2018. This game can be attacked as an otherwise normal one for GSW considering they were down 77-38 at the half to Milwaukee last night thus keeping the minutes pretty manageable.

Hawks @ Heat (-4), O/U 220.5 8:00 ET

The Heat are finally playing their first home game of 2022, taking the FTX Arena court for the first time since December 28th. Miami could also get Jimmy Butler ($9.8k) back in a rematch of Wednesday's game that the Heat won by 24 points while limiting Trae Young to 27fp.

Mavericks @ Grizzlies (-3), O/U 217.5 10:00 ET

Memphis survived the 🥪sandwich game last night, beating Minnesota 116-108 following a huge win over Golden State and a visit from Dallas on the back to back. That's 11 in a row for the Griz who have also gone 4-1 ATS in their last 5 on 0 days rest

Rockets @ Kings (-5), O/U 238.5 10:00 ET

Crazy target game with two bad teams yet one of the highest betting totals of the season at 238.5. Houston has allowed 120+ in 9 of their last 12 making somebody on Sacramento a play, but who?
