It's a 6-game main slate with no shortage of storylines for this Mother's Day edition of NBA DFS. Karl-Anthony Towns plays his second Mother's Day game since Jacqueline Cruz' death and LaMelo Ball and Lonzo Ball square off for the title of Best Son. If we're lucky Luka Doncic's mom will also be in attendance tonight in Cleveland. On to the games:

Today's NBA Matchups

Pelicans @ Hornets (-4), O/U 222 7:00 PM ET

New Orleans is a hard DFS target here, scoring 109 or less in 4 of their last 5 and with the worst pace drop of the night (-6.37). Zion Williamson (finger) might very well be shut down for the year as well.

Mavs (-11) @ Cavs, O/U 217 7:00 PM ET

Dallas and Cleveland meet up for the 2nd time in three nights, with the Mavs winning by 20. Luka Doncic had just 37fp in the blowout win, and a same fate may be upcoming.

Timberwolves (-7.5) @ Magic, O/U 230 7:00 PM ET

Orlando may be a target here against a T'Wolves team that has allowed 140, 139, and 121 points the last three games. The Magic have also won three of four, but who do you play on this team?

Bulls (-9) @ Pistons, O/U 219 8:00 PM ET

You have to give Chicago credit, they aren't bailing completely even though they are 3 games back from the 10 seed with 5 to go. The Bulls have beaten Charlotte 120-99 and Boston 121-99 the last two so they are playing well on both ends of the court. The Pistons have lost 5 of 6 and are also on the b2b after falling by 14 in Philly last night.

Suns (-7.5) @ Lakers, O/U 215 10:00 PM ET

The Suns avenged their random 32 point loss to the Hawks with a 128-105 win over the Knicks on Friday night. Phoenix has won 6 of 7, and the Lakers have lost 5 of 6. This could be a 1st round playoff preview, but Los Angeles is still very thin.

Thunder @ Kings (-9.5), O/U 222.510:00 PM ET

Nothing left to gain but pride points for the Kings, who are 3GB from the 10 seed with the Pelicans still to jump and only 5 games to do it. Having the next two games against OKC definitely helps Sacramento's cause though, as the Thunder are on the back to back and gave up 136 to the Warriors last night.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Zach LaVine DK $9.8k | FD $9k

@Detroit

Zach LaVine is only two games back from the health and safety protocols, but he looked returned to form on Friday playing 33 minutes and taking 24 shots against Boston (40fp). The only thing you worry about here is blowout as Detroit is on the back to back, but the Bulls don't beat teams that they're supposed to.

LaMelo Ball DK $8.6k | FD $7.7k

vs. New Orleans

LaMelo Ball goes up against his brother Lonzo tonight. Never mind the Mother's Day angle battling for top son, opposing PGs have scored 37+ fp in four straight vs. the Pelicans. New Orleans is giving up 42 fppg to PGs over the past month - NOW throw in the Mother's Day, Brother's Day angle.

Delon Wright DK $7.7k | FD $8.1k

vs. OKC

Delon Wright has great value with Fox, Hield, Haliburton, and Barnes all possibly (likely) missing tonight's game. . Wright gets a matchup with the lowly Thunder, and has been padding his stats with 40+fp in three straight games. Hi

No sense for Dallas to overdue Doncic here, just let Tim Hardaway, Jr. continue his streak of three straight perfect lineups against a Cavs team that is +11 point underdogs but also 26th defensively vs. the SF position. Hardaway took 14 shots including 9 three's in Friday's matchup, just keep that up (and make a few more) good sir.
