Top NBA Plays Monday March 14th| Center Stage

With no college hoops and just one NHL game, tonight is all about the NBA and we're jam packed with a 9-game slate. It's headlined by an ESPN doubleheader tipped off by Nuggets @ Sixers with Bucks @ Jazz as the nightcap.

Portland plays so that's always a possible blowout (ATL -14) while the Warriors and Hornets are double digit favorites over the Wizards and Thunder respectively. There's still a lot of sifting to do so let's see how the card shakes out:

🏀Top 5 Player Props March 14th 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Aaron Gordon (Over 5.5 rebounds) - He is a GTD (foot) but is in a great spot to hit the boards if he does play. The Sixers have allowed 37 total rebounds to the last three PFs they've faced, Gordon had 11 last Thursday, and Philadelphia is on the back to back as well.

🏀Klay Thompson (Over 20.5 points) - His minutes have been a steady 33+ the last three games and he should come out 'heat checking' after hitting 15-24 shots on Saturday (38 points). Wizards just gave up 44 at the SG spot to Josh Hart over the weekend.

🏀Ivica Zubac (Over 10.5 rebounds) - Chalk play (-130) but solid as Cleveland has allowed 14 and 17 rebounds to the last two centers while playing without Jarrett Allen. Zubac has played 30+ minutes and grabbed 27 total rebounds the last two games. Marcus Morris, Sr. is also out for LAC.

🏀Mason Plumlee (Under 8.5 rebounds) - Worth a look at+100 considering he is all or nothing - 28 total rebounds in two games, 7total in two others over his last four. Could be a Charlotte blowout with OKC on the back to back

🏀De'Aaron Fox (Over 35.5 points, rebounds, and assists) - Chicago has allowed 43fp to 4 of the past 5 PGs meaning they're giving up a lot of peripherals. Fox has scored 32+ points alone in 3 of the past 4.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Nuggets @ 76ers (-1.5), O/U 222 7:30 ET

MVP Showdown? It's not really a true Nikola Jokic vs. Joel Embiid situation considering the Sixers are on the back to back and Embiid went for 35/16/7 in a whopping 41 minutes in OT last night in Orlando. James Harden sat the last Philly back to back, and the Sixers could be real shorthanded tonight.

Hornets (-10) @ Thunder, O/U 231.5 8:00 ET

The Thunder have 9 players on the injury report and are also playing on the back to back following a 7-point loss to Memphis last night. That gives Charlotte some value coming off a 142 point outburst on Friday against the Pelicans.

Timberwolves (-3.5) @ Spurs, O?U 241 8:30 ET

This looks like a trap game based on the point spread as Minnesota seems like they should be higher favorites. The T'Wolves have won 8 of 9 while the Spurs just lost to Indiana (albeit on the back to back) and have Dejounte Murray (calf) and Jakob Poeltl (back) questionable.

Bulls (-3.5) @ Kings, O/U 236 10:00 ET

Chicago also looks like they should be bigger than a -3.5 favorite against a Kings team that has lost 9 of 11. DeMar DeRozan had 38 real points when these teams met last month in a 7-point Bulls win. Domantas Sabonis had 22/12/8 (53fp) and should be fresh after sitting out the last two. The player to watch is De'Aaron Fox though as he's coming offa 70-burger vs. the Jazz and has two 40+ real point games over his last four.

Bucks (-1.5) @ Jazz O/U 233 10:00 ET

The Jazz are underdogs at home tonight which is interesting considering they have just one ATS loss in their last 8 in Salt Lake City. Utah will have Mike Conley back in the lineup after resting Saturday and it's possible Rudy Gobert returns from a foot injury that had him sitting over the weekend as well. Note to self: play Jordan Clarkson the next time those two sit out as he went for 55fp on Saturday.

Raptors (-4) @ Lakers, O/U 225 10:30 ET

The Lakers are on the back to back tonight but a 29-point loss to Phoenix on Sunday wasn't exactly exhausting and Lebron James was the only L.A. player to go over 30 minutes (30:12). Toronto on the other hand has just beaten the Spurs, Suns, and Nuggets to start their road trip 3-0.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Jrue Holiday DK $7.9k | FD $8.7k @ Utah

  • He's had three sub-par scoring games, but the matchup is there tonight

  • The Jazz just gave up 41 real points to De'Aaron Fox on Saturday at the PG spot

  • Utah has allowed 50+ to 4 of past 5 PGs.

Tyrese Maxey DK $7.2k | FD $6.7k vs. Denver

  • Low ownership reasons: 7ppg last two, 45 minutes yesterday

  • Upside reasons: Denver has allowed 46+ fp to 5 straight PGs, it's possible Harden and/or Embiid sit on the back to back

Jordan Poole DK $6.5k | FD 7k vs. Washington

  • Golden State going small and he moved into starting SF spot last game

  • Poole has 20+ points in 6 straight games

  • Draymond Green is probable, but Andrew Wiggins and Otto Porter, Jr. are both questionable (illness)

  • Washington has 6th worst defense in NBA

Lindy Waters III DK $3.4k | FD $4k vs. Charlotte

  • Has taken 11+ shots in three straight has OKC works through injuries

  • Has 16+ real points in two of his last three

  • OKC a +10 point underdog and on the b2b, the minutes should be there

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Keldon Johnson DK $6.3k | FD $6.3 vs. Minnesota

  • Well-rested after sitting in Saturday's back to back

  • Spurs look like a win over Minnesota in a trap point spread (+3.5)

  • Has 27+ in two of last four, roller coaster ready to go 'up'

Terance Mann DK $5k | FD $5.8k @ Cleveland

  • Worth a look in a few lineups just because the Clippers are so shorthanded tonight

  • Cavs have allowed 33+ fp to four straight SFs

Jonathan Kuminga DK $4.8k | FD $5.1k vs. Washington

  • Still value even with Draymond Green returning

  • Washington could be a blowout win with minutes available

  • Has 12+ shots in three straight, grabbed 11 rebounds Saturday

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Pascal Siakam DK $9.1k | FD $8.4k @ Lakers

  • A lot of people are expecting him to go off here, especially with LAL on the back to back

  • Lakers have allowed 14+ rebounds to three straight starting C's

  • Deandre Ayton had 23/16 last night vs. L.A in 27 minutes

  • Siakam has scored 52 fp in 3 of past 5
