Top NBA Plays Monday March 21st| Shutting It Down
A weekend of Madness has subsided, and the NBA is locked and loaded for a 9-game slate. The biggest news of the day is that Zion Williamson (foot) and Damian Lillard (abdominal) both will not return this season due to their respective injuries.
With only about 10 games left on the schedule, postseason seeding is getting as tight as ever. Minnesota and Dallas play an important game in the Western Conference while the Bulls and Raptors tangle in the East with just 1.5 games separating them.
🏀Top 5 Player Props March 21st 🏀
LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:
🏀Isaac Okoro (Over 9.5 points) -Okoro has 20, 17, and 11 points over his last four, and the Lakers have been the 2nd worst team in the NBA vs. SGs over the past month.
🏀Lebron James (Over 38.5 points & rebounds) - James has 30+ points in 5 of the last 6 as he's in a dogfight with Embiid and Antetokounmpo for the scoring title. He's also back in Cleveland, and the Cavs have struggled on the glass since losing Jarrett Allen.
🏀Terry Rozier (Over 25.5 points & assists) - He has hit this number in 7 of his last 10 including a 25/8 line in the last meeting with New Orleans 10 days ago. The Pelicans have allowed at least 130 points in half of their last 8 games, and are also playing on the back to back.
🏀DeMar DeRozan (Under 26.5 points) - He's scored 28+ points in his last two games vs. his old squad, but has been slumping with 25 points or less in 7 of the last 9. Minutes could take a bit of a hit tonight too with the Bulls trying to work Patrick Williams in at times after a 5-month absence.
🏀Christian Wood (Over 9.5 rebounds) - Played just 21 minutes yesterday so should be fresh for the back to back. Wood has grabbed at least a dozen boards in three of his last five, and the Wizards have allowed 10+ to 4 of the past 5 C's.
Tonight's Key NBA Matchups
Pelicans @ Hornets (-6), O/U 233.5 7:00 ET
The Hornets have won four in a row, and their offense has been on point lately with 143, 139, and 129 points in three of those. One of those high offensive outbursts was against these Pelicans on March 11th, 142-120 behind 25+ real points from Terry Rozier and Miles Bridges.
Lakers @ Cavs (-5), O/U 227 7:00 ET
Lebron James is back in Cleveland with his dumpster fire of a team the Lakers. James had 75 fp in a trip to Cleveland last season, but the Cavs are much improved this year.
Malik Monk says he and Austin Reaves bond while getting yelled at, via ESPN:
“Older guys yelling at the rookies because it's their fault. Everything they do, it's your fault out there because they know everything and you don't and when you mess up, you just got to take it."

Heat (-2.5) @ 76ers , OU 215.5 7:30 ET
Do the Sixers go all-in playing Joel Embiid and James Harden full usage even on the back to back? Philadelphia is 3 back from Miami for the #1 seed in the East and may have gotten caught looking ahead to tonight's matchup after a home loss to Toronto yesterday.
Edit: Joel Embiid is OUT tonight
Jazz (-1.5) @ Nets, O/U 229.5 7:30 ET
The Nets are 4 games back from Cleveland for the #6 seed with just 11 to go and Toronto to also jump. It's looking like the Nets are headed for the play-in tournament and they will once again be without Kyrie Irving with this game in New York. Donovan Mitchell has been finding his groove for Utah, going for 50+fp in three straight games with Bojan Bogdanovic out of the lineup.
Timberwolves @ Mavericks (-2), O/U 230 8:30 ET
Minnesota has won 10 of their last 11 including a dominant 138-119 win over the Bucks over the weekend. The T'Wolves have scored 124+ in 9 of those games which also gives Dallas the best pace boost of the night.
