Top NBA Plays Saturday February 26th| Special Delivery
We're back for a special Saturday edition of the LineStar Daily Dribble, as it takes all of us a little time to knock out the cobwebs following the all-star break.
It's a nice looking six-game main slate tonight with Boston and Detroit already underway in an early tip. Kyrie Irving is back on the floor with the Nets out of New York in a visit to Milwaukee while DeMar DeRozan looks to continue his hot stretch at home against Memphis.
Let's break it down:
chicagobulls: DeMar DeRozan joins a short-list of players to score 35+ in eight straight games. Here are the others:
Wilt Chamberlain
Elgin Baylor
Michael Jordan
Kobe Bryant
LeBron James
James Harden📰 | @SamSmithHoops game recap: #chicagobulls

🏀Top 5 Player Props February 26th 🏀
LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:
🏀DeMar DeRozan (Over 35.5 points and assists) - Everybody and their mother is on this one tonight but how do you not as DeRozan is on one of the best stretches we've ever seen. He's gone for 30.5+ in 9 straight and has topped 35+ in his last 9. If he isn't shooting (and Memphis has been good vs. the SF) best believe he's dishing.
🏀Steven Adams (Over 9.5 rebounds) The Bulls have allowed 12 rebounds to Sabonis right before all-star weekend and 17 to Clint Capela on Thursday the first game back. Adams has 11+ boards in 4 of the last 5
🏀Kyrie Irving (Over 2.5 three pointers) - High juice (-130 at Caesars best price) but he takes 21-25 shots per game and you think a few of those would be from beyond the arc if the Nets get down as double digit underdogs. Also, very fresh legs having not played since February 12th
🏀Bam Adebayo (Over 30.5 points and rebounds) - The only worry here is a Heat blowout against a Spurs team that went to 2OT last night. Adebayo has five straight double-doubles, the last four with at least 12 rebounds. He's scored 18+ in 7 of the last 9 so the trends are there.
🏀Jrue Holiday (Under 28.5 points, rebounds, assists) - Brooklyn suddenly great vs. the PG position holding five straight to 33fp or less. The points are what worry you here as his peripherals have been down the last four, but he should be tired of having to guard Irving and this could also be a Bucks blowout limiting minutes.
Tonight's Key NBA Matchups
Raptors @ Hawks (-5), O/U 223 7:30 ET
Toronto laid an egg last night in a 125-93 loss at Charlotte, being down 41 points at one span. It's going to take some guts to go back to Pascal Siakam (11fp), Fred VanVleet (19fp), or Gary Trent, Jr. (21fp) tonight.
Wizards @ Cavaliers (-7.5), O/U 221 10:00 ET
This should be a good spot for the Cleveland front court, with their guards completely depleted (Darius Garland, Rajon Rondo, Caris LeVert all out) against a Washington team that played to a 2OT 157-153 loss last night to San Antonio.
Spurs @ Heat (-8.5) O/U 225 8:00 ET
It's a tough spot for the Spurs who played a fast-paced 157-153 2OT win in Washington last night. Dejounte Murray dropped a 70-burger and Keldon Johnson went for nearly 8X but four of the five Spurs starters also played 40+ minutes. Miami is on the back to back too though, although much easier in beating the Knicks 115-100 last night.
Grizzlies (-1.5) @ Bulls, O/U 237.5 8:00 ET
It's interesting that Memphis draws the favorite tag here tonight the way DeRozan has been tearing up the league. Chicago is also 24-8 at home but perhaps oddsmakers know more than we do here.
Nets @ Bucks (-9.5) O/U 237 8:30 ET
This is a nationally televised ABC contest that was dubbed "Durant vs. Giannis" but maybe they don't have the marketing budget to update that because Durant is still out. Brooklyn will have Kyrie Irving back in the lineup for the first time since February 12th (New York games), hoping his presence improves on 129-106 losing performance to Boston on Thursday.
Kings @ Nuggets (-8) O/U 216.5 9:00 ET
A rematch of Thursday night's 128-110 Nuggets win in Sacramento. Nikola Jokic went for 25/12/9 en route to 65fp but Domantas Sabonis had 33/14/5 (63fp) for $3.5k less. Decisions, decisions.
Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables
Zach LaVine DK $8.6k | FD $7.8k vs Memphis
DeRozan is going off right now, but LaVine is a nice fade with this matchup
Grizzlies have allowed 30fp or less to 5 straight SFs, having given up 38+ to five straight SGs so this could be a LaVine night
20 points on Thursday was in his first regular-season game in almost two weeks
Seth Curry DK $6.1k | FD $5.9k @ Milwaukee
Do you pay to see it in his first game with Kyrie Irving? James Harden's debut in Philadelphia didn't hurt Tyrese Maxey last night (28 real points)
Curry has hit 6X in 3 of 4 games with the Nets
Bucks allowing 30 fppg to SG starters over last 20, 49+ to Buddy Hield and Josh Hart over last three games
Brandon Goodwin DK $4.2k | FD $5.4k vs. Washington
Not a whole lot of bodies left in the backcourt for Cleveland
Went for 30+ fp in 2 of the last 3 starts back at the end of January/early February
Wizards on a 2OT back to back giving up 70fp to Dejounte Murray at the PG spot last night
Tonight's SF / PF Notables
Domantas Sabonis DK $9.4k | FD $9.6k @ Denver
Looking comfortable in Sacramento, perfect lineup last two games
Had 33/14/5 in matchup with Jokic on Thursday
Betting total of 237, going to be some points scored
Bogdan Bogdanovic DK $6.1k | FD $6.9k vs Toronto
On a nice run dating back before the all star break, 23 points in 4 of the last 5
De'Andre Hunter (illness) is probable so he probably won't get 24 shots again, but still plays a Toronto team on the back to back after being humiliated by Charlotte last night
Has averaged 6X DK price in two games vs. Raptors this season
Lauri Markkanen DK $5.8k | FD $5.7k vs. Washington
Could see more ball handling duties with all the injuries to Cleveland's back court
Bounced back well with 22 points and 6 rebounds on Thursday, his first game back since January22nd - also took 16 shots
Washington playing on the back to back after going into 2OT last night, gave up a 46fp game to Keldon Johnson at the SF spot
Tonight's Center Position Notables
Clint Capela DK $6.6k | FD $6.5k vs. Toronto
Maybe he steps up a bit after the all-star break? So far so good with 14 points/17 rebounds Thursday vs. Chicago
Toronto has allowed 10+ rebounds to 4 of past 5 centers, giving up 9.8 rebounds/game over last 20
Raptors playing on the back to back
