Top NBA Plays Thursday April 21st| Hook, Line, and...?

Weather is warming up for most of the U.S. which means it's time to get out the poles. It looks like we've already got the bait with Memphis giving just -2 points to Minnesota, Golden State -2 in Denver, and Dallas +7 at Utah even though there's a chance Luka Doncic could return.

All of those lines seem too easy, so by that metric, the teams to target tonight would be the T'Wolves, Nuggets, and Utah - but maybe that's what they want us to think?

Either way, let's get after it with a trio of Game 3's and series' shifting locations:

🏀Top Player Props April 21st 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Donovan Mitchell (Over 28.5 points) -I think he gets to at least 30 here unless the Jazz tries to get Rudy Gobert more involved in the offense. Mitchell averaged 33 ppg in the two playoff games in Dallas despite averaging just 14.5 there in two regular season games. He's taken 59 shots so far and averaged 33 in two home games vs. the Mavs this season.

🏀Jordan Poole (Over 2.5 three pointers made) - He's hit 10-17 from three the last two games and that's with Golden State pulling out two double digit wins. It feels like Denver wins this game with the Warriors just -2 point trap favorites, so expect even more shots from beyond the arc.

🏀Andrew Wiggins Over 5.5 rebounds) - He's running all around 35-year-old Jeff Green with an 8.5 rebound average in the first two games of the series and Jokic is wearing down against this small ball GSW attack.

🏀Rudy Gobert (Over 15.5 rebounds) - Just -104 even though he has 17 rebounds in three of his last four meetings with Dallas. Has 16+ in 4 of his last 6 overall at home

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Grizzlies (-2) @ Timberwolves , O/U 236.5 7:30 ET

Memphis bounced back with a 28-point win in Game 2, and now has a chance to regain homecourt advantage back in the Twin Cities. This series has been largely dominated by officials so far, with Ja Morant shooting 20 free throws in Game 1, and the 1st quarter of Game 2 taking nearly an hour with a combined 33 free throws. Let's see if the tight whistles continue back in Minnesota, as surely the league has heard the criticism.

Mavericks @ Jazz (-7), O/U 210.5 9:00 ET

LukaWatch will probably continue right until game time which stinks with a 9:00 PM ET tip off. Then again who is spending $9.6k on Doncic when he might be on a minutes restriction - but his return could also put a dent in Jalen Brunson's production after he went over 8X in Game 2.

The Jazz know who is playing for them, and that's Donovan Mitchell who has 45+ fp in the first two games of the series. Rudy Gobert is killing the boards (17+ in 3 of last 4 vs. Dallas) but he's not scoring with just 6 fga total the first two tilts in Dallas.

Warriors (-2), O/U 223.5 10:00 ET

Golden State is up 2-0 as they've outscored Denver by 35 points in two games in the Bay Area. Something like 85% of the betting public is on the Warriors with the line not budging and sportsbooks don't just give away games like this. Something to think about even with Steph Curry under $9k on DK for the first time all season ($8.9) coming off 49fp off the bench in Game 2.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Donovan Mitchell DK $8.4k | FD $9k vs. Dallas

  • Very consistent with 32 and 34 points in the first two games on 29 and 30 shots

  • Averaged 33 ppg in Dallas despite scoring 14.5 ppg at American Airlines Center in two regular season game. Averaged 33 in two home games vs. Mavs this year.

D'Angelo Russell DK $7k | FD $7.3k vs. Grizzlies

  • Bounce back game after a disappointing 25.5 fppg in the two games in Memphis

  • Had made the perfect lineup in all four regular season games vs. the Grizzlies, and has a 43fp floor in his previous 7 vs. Memphis

Bones Hyland DK $4.1k | FD $4.7k vs. Warriors

  • Denver needs a spark and Hyland is averaging 14/3/5 in his last 10 home games

  • Minutes have to be there with GSW playing small ball, but just 17 mpg in the first two

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Anthony Edwards DK $8.2k | FD $8.8k vs. Memphis

  • He finished with only 20 points (31fp) but did hit 4-10 threes in Game 2.

  • Back at home where he had 30 real points in the play-in game and 49 on April 7th.

Bojan Bogdanovic DK $6k | FD $6.2k vs Mavericks

  • Averaged 25.5 points in the two games in Dallas, taking 35 shots

  • Has hit 31+ fp in four straight games

Reggie Bullock DK $5.1k | FD $4.2 @ Utah

  • Solid FD pricing for a guy who has hit 26+ fp in three straight vs. Jazz

  • Scored 23 real points vs. Utah at the end of March

  • Averaging 13 points/5 rebounds/ 2.5 assists this series

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Xavier Tillman DK $3.5k | FD $4.2k @ Minnesota

  • Steven Adams is listed as out (knee) in some places, but either way he played only 3 minutes in Game 2.

  • Tillman provided a nice spark with 13/7 in 20 minutes in Game 2, look for increased playing time as he also stifled Karl-Anthony Towns in what ended up being a Memphis blowout
