Top NBA Plays Thursday December 23rd| Loaded Potato

There are no NBA games on Christmas Eve, so we've got a jam-packed 11-game slate tonight even with the Nets at Trail Blazers game postponed. Sure we all want to air some grievances with the health and safety protocols right now, but let's work through it with plenty of routes to take tonight.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Rockets @ Pacers (-9) , O/U 222 7:00 ET

Oddsmakers expecting a potential blowout here with Houston playing on the back to back following a 21-point loss in Milwaukee last night. It wouldn't be a surprise if Indiana rests Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) with the Christmas break coming up.

Hawks @ 76ers (-10.5), O/U 208.5 7:00 ET

Atlanta has five players in health and safety protocols and also has to play on the back to back after a six point win against Orlando last night. Cam Reddish (55fp) and John Collins (52fp) both logged 40+ minutes last night.

Wizards @ Knicks (-1), O/U 211.5 7:30 ET

Weird spot for Washington, wrapping up a five-game road trip but also having the last four nights off. The Knicks have dropped 4 of the last 5 at the Garden, but are we staying here for the Kemba Walker resurgence (40+ fp last two).

Bucks (-3.5) @ Mavericks, O/U 209 8:30 ET

Milwaukee had a 20 point win over Houston last night which helped them preserve some minutes for tonight's matchup in Dallas. The Mavs having 9 players on the injury report doesn't hurt the Bucks chances either.

Hornets @ Nuggets (-3), O/U 230.5 9:00 ET

Still have to target Denver here even after a surprising loss to Oklahoma City last night because Charlotte has allowed 14 players in the perfect lineup over their last 15 games. Nikola Jokic was a lineup killer last night with a 13/7/3 line in 25 minutes (29fp), being benched in the 4th quarter.

Grizzlies @ Warriors (-6), O/U 216 10:00 ET

Ja Morant had 40fp in 28 minute in his return to the lineup on Monday and faces a Golden State team that he's dropped 50+ fp against the last two meetings. No Klay Thompson for the Warriors, whose return has been pushed back from this week to sometime in January.

Spurs @ Lakers (-1.5), O/U 223.5 10:30 ET

The Spurs have been in Los Angeles since Sunday's win against the Clippers, playing the last two games at the Staples Center before it becomes the Bitcoin Center or something like that on Christmas.
