Top NBA Plays Thursday March 31st| Out Like a Jeremy Lamb

It's the last day of March and the penultimate Thursday regular-season slate as the NBA gears up for the playoffs. We've got 5 games on tap including the Lakers trying to defend their newly reacquired #10 seed (without Lebron James - but maybe with Anthony Davis), Paul George trying to encore his 58fp return from the injured list in Chicago, and the Bucks visiting the Nets.

Let's get to it:

🏀Top Player Props March 31st 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Andre Drummond (Over 10.5 rebounds) -Steven Adams grabbed 11 (in 25 minutes) and Joel Embiid had 14 boards in the last two vs. Milwaukee. Drummond had 11 rebounds in 18 minutes against the Heat on Saturday and is averaging 29 minutes and 14.5 rebounds in the last two games.

🏀Marvin Bagley (Under 7.5 rebounds) - He's been held under 8 rebounds in 6 of the last 8 games, and you'd think fouls would be an issue matchup up with Embiid and Tobias Harris at times. The big concern is the Sixers getting a big lead and pulling their starters, but Detroit has done a decent job of keeping games close recently.

🏀Donovan Mitchell (Over 25.5 points) - He's pretty ticked off after the Jazz blew another huge lead, and also back home for the first time in nearly two weeks. Mitchell went for 26+ in 5 of 6 on the recent road trip, we just need Bojan Bogdanovic (ques-calf) to stay on the sidelines and the Lakers to keep this relatively close.

🏀DeMar DeRozan (Over 25.5 points) -He might be heating back up after consecutive 30+ point games while taking 26 and 27 shots. Chicago is back home after playing 8 of their last 9 on the road and trying to avoid the play-in tournament with three tough games upcoming (MIA, MIL, BOS).

🏀Jrue Holiday (Over 6.5 assists) - He's dished out 10 dimes in back-to-back games and has 7+ in 7 of the last 8 and now playing against the Nets in a game with a betting total of 243 points. Yes, please.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

76ers (-10.5) @ Pistons, O/U 223.5 7:00 ET

The Sixers get a pretty solid schedule draw down the stretch, playing the first of two games with Detroit tonight and having two contests with the Pacers. That should be a nice rebound from consecutive losses to Phoenix and Milwaukee, with the Pistons on a 3-game losing streak while also dropping 8 of their last 10.

Bucks @ Nets (-2), O/U 243 7:30 ET

Milwaukee is up to just 1 GB of the Heat for #1 in the East, but are still underdogs at the Nets tonight. Brooklyn surprisingly struggled in Tuesday's 130-123 win over Detroit, but a 73fp night from Kevin Durant fueled their rally.

Cavaliers @ Hawks (-5) , OU 222 7:30 ET

The Cavs lost 120-112 to the Mavs last night even though Dallas was on the back to back. Now Cleveland and Atlanta meet up with both on 0 days rest after Trae Young's 41 real point night propelled the Hawks to a 136-118 win over Oklahoma City.

Clippers @ Bulls (-3.5), O/U 223 8:00 ET

Paul George scored 34 points in 31 minutes on Tuesday and helped the Clippers come back from 25 down to beat the Jazz. That snapped a 5-game losing streak for LAC and looks like the kind of win that will give them momentum against a Bulls team that has lost 6 of their last 9. Chicago has Miami, Milwaukee, and Boston coming up after this so the 2-game lead to avoid the play-in tournament isn't as safe as it looks.

Lakers @ Jazz (-13), OU 224.5 10:00 ET

Los Angeles is back into a 1/2 game lead for the #10 seed thanks to San Antonio's loss last night, but it looks like the Lakers may volley that back to the Spurs as +13 point underdogs in Salt Lake City. The Jazz are back home for the first time since March 18th, on the heels of 5 straight losses that have them now just 2.5 games out of having to be in the play-in tournament.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Reggie Jackson DK $6.6k | FD $6.3k @ Chicago

  • PGs had gone for 41fp+ in four straight vs. the Bulls until Tomas Satoransky's 26 on Tuesday (in just 25 mins though and with a 19.5 avg)

  • Bulls allow 23/5/8 to opposing PGs over the past 20 games

  • Jackson took 24 shots on Tuesday even with Paul George back

Bogdan Bogdanovic DK $6.3k | FD $6.1k vs. Cleveland

  • He gets his 14+ shots in 6 straight games going for 30+ fp in 6 of those

  • Has 20+ real points in 5 of the last 6

  • Cavs and Hawks both playing on the back to back

Jordan Clarkson DK $6.2k | FD $5.5k vs. Lakers

  • He's never really had the "_evenge" game against the Lakers, but now would be a great time with L.A giving up 120+ points in 6 of their last 7

  • Jazz have been on the road for six straight games, but back home where Clarkson has posted 37+ fp in 3 of his last 4

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Khris Middleton DK $7.8k | FD $7.5k @ Brooklyn

  • Consistent with a 38fp floor in all three games vs. Nets this year - 7 straight dating back to last year's playoff series

  • Hit 6X vs. Philadelphia with a 22/9/7 line on Monday

  • 243 point betting total

Bobby Portis DK $6k | FD $5.2k @ Brooklyn

  • Can Milwaukee stack in a game with a 243 point betting total

  • He's a reserve now, but in two starts vs. the Nets this year Portis has a 30/12 and a 25/12 performance for a 49fp average - he likes the matchup

Stanley Johnson DK $3.8k | FD $4.5k @ Utah

  • Has 6X DK pricing in 4 of the last 5, and has gone for 30+ fp in his last two starts

  • 32fppg in the last two big underdog games, 29.7 mins over the last three games, +16% in down pace matchups

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Clint Capela DK $6.2k | FD $6k vs. Cleveland

  • Staying here for some reason after 21fp last night

  • Battled foul trouble and a blowout in the win over OKC, but did grab 11 rebounds in 20 minutes

  • -140 for a double-double tonight, O/U rebounds 12.5 and points 11.5 meaning it should be a productive night.

  • Cavs also playing on the back to back and down to 3rd/4th string centers

Isaiah Hartenstein DK $5.1k | FD $6.4k @ Chicago

  • Chicago is allowing 15/5 ppg and 11.5 rpg to starting C's over the past 20 games. Even though Ivica Zubac is the starter, Hartenstein is getting more minutes

  • Hartenstein has 12+ points in 4 of the last 5 and 7+ rebounds in 3 of the last 4 with a 33fp floor over the past 4 games
