Top NBA Plays Tuesday April 19th| Game Two To Do

A trio of game 2's go down tonight, with many expecting the Suns to go to 2-0, the Grizzlies to tie things up at 1-1, and Atlanta to maybe put up a better fight against Miami (?).

Just like last night, we've got a game worth of data and usage to examine as these series move into Game 2's. Let's get after it.

🏀Top Player Props April 19th 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Trae Young (Over 34.5 points & assists) -Onboard for the bounce back game? Young had just 8 points and 4 assists in Game 1, but had over 35 points & assists in his five previous games. Young had 35 & 8 in his most recent regular season game vs. Miami on April 8th.

🏀Malik Beasley (Over 2.5 three pointers) - He was launching in game one going 4-10 from three point range. Beasley now has 3+ threes in 7 of his last 9 and if Memphis does indeed get a rout to pull the series to 1-1 he'll be firing from beyond the arc.

🏀D' Angelo Russell (Over 18. 5 points) - He can get to 20 tonight following a 2-11 shooting night in Game 1. The Grizzlies are going to zero in on stopping Edwards, and Russell had hit 22+ in 3 of 4 games prior to Sunday's contest.

🏀Tyus Jones (Over 2.5 assists) - Crazy low number for Jones having 6 assists in 15 minutes in Game 1, and he's had 5+ in 11 straight games.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Hawks @ Heat (-7.5), O/U 219 7:30 ET

You know the Hawks had a bad night in game 1 when Danilo Gallinari was the leading scorer with 17 points. Trae Young was 1-12 (0-7 from three) finishing with 23fp on a $9.8k salary. Atlanta is without Clint Capela (knee) but Bam Adebayo still managed just 6 points and 6 rebounds making this contest likely one to avoid on the blocks.

Miami might not get another 8 for 9 from three point range game from Duncan Robinson, whose prop is at just 2.5 tonight. Jimmy Butler had 21/6/4 in game 1, for just 40fp on an $8.4k salary.

Timberwolves @ Grizzlies (-6.5), O/U 240.5 8:30 ET

Can Minnesota really get to 2-0 against Memphis, the #2 seed in the West? They'll certainly have better chances if Anthony Edwards plays as he did on Saturday with 36 points on 12-23 shooting (55fp). Karl-Anthony Towns had 29/13 (53fp) as he dominated the post against Steven Adams (0 points, 3 rebounds).

It's not known if Uncle Herb Morant is refereeing again tonight, but it's hard to expect another 20 trips to the free throw line for Ja Morant in Game 2. Ja did finish with 50fp on a $9.8k salary.

Pelicans @ Suns (-9.5), O/U 221.5 10:00 ET

New Orleans was down 23 at one point in Game 1, but fought back to within 6 at one point and outscored the Suns in the 2nd half. Does that give them momentum heading into tonight's game? In case you missed it, Jonas Valanciunas was "dat dude" on Sunday with 18 points and 25 rebounds (55fp) on a $7.3k salary. J-Val's rebound prop is 12.5 tonight.

CJ McCollum had 25 points on 25 shots in Game 1, but Brandon Ingram was underwhelming with 30fp last game. Chris Paul had a well rounded game with 30/7/10 (64fp) despite not taking a shot in the 1st quarter.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Chris Paul DK $8.3k | FD $9.6k vs. New Orleans

  • Great DK pricing after putting up 64fp in Game 1 despite being up by 20+ at one point and taking just one shot in the 1st quarter

  • Had a +/- of +20 on Sunday

  • 51 fppg in last 12 home games averaging 18.0/5.6/13.8

Patrick Beverley DK $5.6k | FD $5.7k @ Memphis

  • Have to love the price with his floor of 29fp in 4 of his last 5

  • Battled some foul trouble and only played 27 minutes in Game 1, still put up 10/6/6

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Anthony Edwards DK $8.2k | FD $9.3k @ Memphis

  • Value on DK, because he could be even better with 1 playoff game under his belt

  • Led Minnesota with 23 shots on Sunday

  • Has made the perfect lineup in 5 of his last 7 dating back to regular season

Mikal Bridges DK $5k | FD $5.4k vs New Orleans

  • Has a 5X floor in all five games vs. Pelicans this season

  • Logged 38 minutes in game 1, New Orleans gives up 6X to starting SFs over last 20 games

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Jonas Valanciunas DK $7.5k | FD $8.5k @ Phoenix

  • He'll be chalk with this price coming off a 25 rebound game, but that's still a great DK price

  • Adebayo underwhelmed in game 1, Towns is around $10k, Adams was nonexistent, and Ayton ($7.2k) has a 45fp ceiling in his last 7 games
