Top NBA Plays Tuesday March 1st| Fade to Get Paid

Rough Monday pulling in the 0-5 in the player props last night, but you have those times where you're just not getting a great read on these games. That's the great thing about the DFS community, the LineStar chat, and just sharing your takes - we're all in this together and you can do what you want with the info.

Come (or don't come) on this Craps Table as we wade through a 6-game Tuesday slate that offers a fresh start as the calendar turns to March.

*Feelings not hurt if you fade as long as somebody gets the W.

🏀Top 5 Player Props March 1st 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Marcus Smart (Over 17.5 points and assists) - Had 13 points and 7 assists vs. Atlanta on February 13th, and the Hawks are giving it up to PGs lately with Fred VanVleet having 24/9, Cole Anthony 23/5, and Darius Garland 30/8 in the last 4 games.

🏀Luka Doncic (Over 50.5 points, rebounds, assists) - Just have a feeling he's going off tonight in front of an L.A. crowd that is getting hostile towards the home team. Doncic has 45+ points alone in 3 of his last 6.

🏀Andrew Wiggins (Under 2.5 assists) - He'll be shooting tonight not passing with Klay Thompson out of the lineup. Wiggins has fared well with 40+ fp in 4 of 6 career games against his old Minnesota team so he likes the 'revenge' - and he's also had 2 assists or less in 4 of the last 5.

🏀Scottie Barnes (Under 15.5 points) -Going to be a lot of people riding this 'over' after going 12-14 from the field over these same Nets last night. Barnes now has 28+ in 2 of the last 3 so the 'over' seems simple. If the Raptors get Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby back, Barnes returns to the guy who scored in single digits in 4 of the last 7.

🏀Anthony Edwards (Over 19.5 points) - He hasn't scored 20+ in the last five games and Golden State is the #1 team vs. the SF over their last five. That would point to an 'under' play (which looks too easy), and with Edwards having a 27 and a 48 point outing over three games with Golden State this season head towards the 'over.'

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Pistons @ Wizards (-3.5), O/U 216 7:00 ET

Kyle Kuzma is enjoying his time as the face of the franchise in Washington with Bradley Beal out for the year with a wrist injury and Kristaps Porzingis in limbo with his knee issues. Kuz has hit a 60 burger in 3 of the last 4 and broke Detroit's heart with 23/7 on Valentine's Day in a 103-94 Wizards win.

Hawks @ Celtics (-6.5), O/U 227.5 7:30 ET

Boston tripped up in a 128-107 loss at Indiana on Sunday but that was on the back to back and at the end of a 3-game road swing. The C's have still won 11 of the last 13, but the Hawks have had the last two nights off - and even more than that after they smoked Toronto by 27 on Saturday.

Nets @ Raptors (-8.5) O/U 218.5 7:30 ET

We've got the home and home back to back with the Raptors demolishing the Nets 133-97 last night. Toronto did that without Fred VanVleet (knee) and OG Anunoby (finger) who are both questionable again, and Kyrie Irving is out again for the Nets as Canada is not a fan of his vaccination status.

Clippers (-7) @ Rockets, O/U 228.5 8:00 ET

A rematch of Sunday's 99-98 Clippers win in a low scoring affair. Reggie Jackson had 26 real points in that game but Houston was way too balanced for DFS purposes with 7 players scoring in double figures.

Warriors (-1.5) @ Timberwolves O/U 232.5 8:00 ET

Golden State will probably turn things on towards the end of the season as they gear up for the playoffs, but they're in a rut right now with losses in 5 of the last 7. The Warriors are still favored in Minnesota tonight even though Karl-Anthony Towns went for 31/12/6 in the Bay at the end of January.

Mavericks (-5.5) @ Lakers O/U 216.5 10:00 ET

The Lakers have lost 9 of 12 and 14 of 20, and non-LA fans around the league are loving it especially with Lebron and company falling 123-95 at home to the Pelicans on Sunday. Even Laker fans are turning on the team with boos ringing out from the Crypto.com Arena last game so we'll see if Luka pours gas on the fire tonight.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Steph Curry DK $10.8k | FD $9.7k @ Minnesota

  • 60 Burger seems in play with T'Wolves allowing a 40fp floor to last five PGs

  • GSW gets the best pace boost of the night, no Klay Thompson for Warriors either

  • Minnesota on the back to back, allowing 17 points and 12 assists to Brandon Goodwin at the PG spot last night

Spencer Dinwiddie DK $5.6k | FD $5.5k @ Lakers

  • Seems to be finding his groove with Dallas, with fp climbing each of the last four games

  • Has back to back 20+ real point games (39fp on Sunday vs. Golden State's #1 defensive efficiency)

  • Lakers 25th defensively vs. the PG position

Luke Kennard DK $4.6k | FD $4.6k @ Houston

  • Coin flip game, as he had 37fp against the Rockets on 2/17 but just 9fp on 2/27

  • Houston has the 3rd worst defense in the league vs. reserves

  • Clippers get 3rd best pace boost of the night, Kennard is usually +23% in up pace games

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Jayson Tatum DK $9.8k | FD $8.9k vs. Atlanta

  • Plays well vs. Atlanta, with a 51fp floor in 5 of the last7

  • Had 38 points and 10 rebounds vs. the Hawks on February 13th

  • Has scored at least 24 real points in 6 of the last 7

Saddiq Bey DK $6.6k | FD $6.3k @ Washington

  • 6X is in play with Bey going for 43, 51, and 40 fp in his last three road games

  • Washington has allowed 30+ to 4 of the past 5 starting SFs

  • Bey had 24/5/5 vs. Wizards on February 14th even though the Pistons scored just94 points

Deni Avdija DK $4.9k | FD $5.9k vs Detroit

  • An under the radar rebounding machine, with 5, 9, 8, 7, and 15 over his last five games

  • Detroit is the 4th worst rebounding team in the league

  • Has also scored in double figures in points in 6 of the last7

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Dwight Howard DK $4.3k | FD $4.4k vs. Dallas

  • Worth a look at that price, as the Mavs have allowed at least 34 fp and double digit rebounds to five straight starting C's

  • Howard has grabbed 27 total rebounds last two games, getting more minutes (22+) as Lakers throw darts to improve their play
