Top NBA Plays Tuesday March 29th| Dropping Like Flies

If you can get a takedown this time of year, God Bless. Last night's slate saw half of the Celtics and Warriors players sitting out somewhat due to injuries and partially to rest for the postseason, and the Oklahoma City vs. Portland matchup was a good target (134-131) but with G-League rosters on both sides of the court.

We've got a 5-game docket tonight, and it looks somewhat optimistic headlined by Joel Embiid and the Sixers hosting Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks for what could be an MVP resume game. The rest of the games on the card all seem meaningful -even despite a couple of blowout scenarios - quite possibly for the last time this regular season. Let's get it on.

🏀Top Player Props March 29th 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Kristaps Porzingis (Over 8.5 rebounds) -Chicago is on the back to back and giving it up on the glass to opposing C's anyways, allowing 10.9 rebounds/game over the past 20. Porzingis has grabbed at least 9 boards in 5 of the last 6.

🏀Reggie Bullock (Over 15.5 points & rebounds) - Likely no Lebron James for a Lakers defense that is still giving up 14.6 points and 7 rebounds to opposing PFs over the past month. Bullock has 18+ points alone in 2 of the last 4, and has grabbed at least 5 rebounds in 4 of his last 6.

🏀Dwight Powell (Over 15.5 points & rebounds) - Stack against the Lakers here. Powell has at least a dozen points in 5 of his last 7, and L.A is not only without James but could have Dwight Howard limited leaving Wenyen Gabriel to handle some center duties. Lakers giving up 15.7/9.2 to opposing C's.

🏀Cory Joseph (Over 6.5 points) -Shouldn't be a ton of defensive resistance in a game with a -14 point spread, and Joseph has scored at least 7 points in 7 of the last 9. Nets allowing 17 ppg to opposing PGs over the past 20.

🏀Tyrese Maxey (Over 17.5 points) -Sixers get the best pace boost of the night against Milwaukee, and Maxey is coming off a 21 shot performance on Sunday. He's gone for 18+ in 4 of the last 5, and 'over' 5 three-pointers alone is -120 compared to -105 for the under.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Bucks @ 76ers (-1.5), O/U 232 7:00 ET

Hard to get more evenly matched than this, both teams have a 46-28 record and .1 point separates Joel Embiid (29.8) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (29.7) in the scoring race. Philly is 21-16 at home, Milwaukee 20-16 on the road and both are a game back from Miami for the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Bulls (-4) @ Wizards, O/U 223.5 7:00 ET

The Bulls are 1-3 on their current road trip, and could get caught looking ahead to playing 5 of their last 6 games at home after tonight. Chicago and Toronto are tied for the 5th/6th seed which would save them from the play-in tournament, but Cleveland is just 1 GB making this a must win - but the Wizards have also been victorious in two straight. The Bulls are also on the back to back.

Pistons @ Nets (-14) , OU 234 7:30 ET

Kyrie Irving can play in New York now, but he hit just 6-22 from the field (1-9 from three) in Sunday's Barclay's Center debut (40fp). It's hard to see Irving, Kevin Durant, or James Harden hitting value tonight as -14 point favorites against a Pistons squad that has dropped 8 of their last 10.

Lakers @ Mavericks (-12), O/U 218.5 7:30 ET

Not much love for the Lakers in this spot, especially with LeBron James doubtful with an ankle injury suffered on Sunday. That's not an ideal time for an injury, with L.A holding just a 1/2 game lead on the Spurs for the #10 seed and with Dallas trying to retain the #4 seed to give them home-court advantage in the first round.

Jazz (-1) @ Clippers, OU 217.5 10:00 ET

Something has to give with Utah losing 4 in a row and the Clippers their last 5. LAC seems destined for the play-in tournament, but Utah's recent skid has them down to the #5 seed, a game back from the Mavericks to see who would host their projected 1st round playoff series.

Tonight's Point Guard / Shooting Guard Notables

Jalen Brunson DK $5.9k | FD $6.3k vs. Lakers

  • There's always the chance Luka Doncic's usage is light as -12 point favorites and a visit to Cleveland coming tomorrow night

  • Lakers have allowed at least 36fp (6X this DK pricing) to 4 of the past 5 SGs

  • Brunson has 40+ fp in both games vs. L.A this season, scoring 25 and 22 real points

Malik Monk DK $5.2k | FD $5.7k @ Dallas

  • He's had 20 and 17 shots the last two games even with LeBron James in the lineup - James is doubtful tonight

  • Hit 6X this price on March 1st vs. Dallas, going for 17/5/4

Tomas Satoransky DK $4.1k | FD $3.6k vs Chicago

  • The bulls are horrible against opposing PGs, giving up 24/7/4 over last 20 games

  • Chicago has allowed 40+ fp to five straight PGs, are playing on the back to back, and are Satoransky's old team

Tonight's SF / PF Notables

Terance Mann DK $5.6k | FD $6.7k vs Utah

  • He's well rested (+20%) having not played since Friday night against the Sixers

  • Has had some upside games lately, 12+ points in 5 straight and 36+ fp in 3 of the last 5

  • Jazz wrapping up a 6-game road swing

Deni Avdija DK $5.1k | FD $5.7k vs. Chicago

  • Playing against a Bulls team playing on the back to back and wrapping up a 5-game road trip

  • Avdija has hit 6X in 5 of the last 7

Tonight's Center Position Notables

Rudy Gobert DK $7.3k | FD $7.7k @ Clippers

  • Does he play (questionable - leg) after sitting out Sunday?

  • Grabbed 16 rebounds vs. LAC on March 18th, Nikola Jokic followed that up with 14 the next game vs. Clippers

  • Gobert had 19 rebounds in his last game on March 25th,
