Top NBA Plays Tuesday March 8th| Closeness

We've got a six pack of games on tonight's slate and they all look like they could be pretty close save for maybe the Bucks visiting the Thunder. Cleveland will be doing some shuffling in their first game without Jarrett Allen and the Suns continue to be without Devin Booker in the health and safety protocols.

Golden State is on the back to back but they rested their (healthy) Big Three in last night's loss in Denver. Let's see how the rest of the card shakes out.

🏀Top 5 Player Props March 8th 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search for the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Giannis Antetokounmpo (Over 12.5 rebounds) - Averaging 12.3 rebounds in 16 career games vs. OKC, has 17+ over the last three with the Thunder.

🏀Evan Mobley (Over 27.5 points and rebounds) - Will see a usage increase with Jarrett Allen out and that's 10.8 reb/game out of the lineup. Mobley had 20 points and 17 boards on Sunday vs. Toronto.

🏀Deandre Ayton (Under 10.5 rebounds) - He's gone 7 straight games without double digit rebounds and Orlando is playing well against bigs allowing just 8.1 rebounds/game to centers over the last 20.

🏀Seth Curry (Under 11.5 points) - Kevin Durant is back and with a road game so is Kyrie Irving. Curry has scored just 8 points in each of the last two games and Charlotte has ranked #1 vs. the SG over the last 5.

🏀Mason Plumlee (Under 7.5 rebounds) - Will be matched up with the more physical Andre Drummond and at times the more athletic Kevin Durant tonight with LaMarcus Aldridge out.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Nets (-3) @ Hornets, O/U 239 7:00 ET

It wouldn't be a complete shock if Brooklyn came out flat here considering they could be looking to Thursday's visit to James Harden and the Sixers. The Hornets are fine with that, winners of consecutive games for the first time since January 28th.

Cavs (-3) @ Pacers, O/U 223.5 7:00 ET

Evan Mobley moves to the starting center position for Cleveland, who will be without Jarrett Allen indefinitely with a fractured finger and a bruised quad. Kevin Love should also see a usage increase and could actually fill the C spot.

Suns (-6) @ Magic O/U 221 7:00 ET

Devin Booker remains in health and safety protocols for Phoenix, but Orlando should be getting Wendell Carter, Jr. back from his bout with an illness. Jalen Suggs (ankle) is questionable for the Magic which is unfortunate because he had 20 points/10 assists in a 27 point loss to the Suns on February 12th.

Pelicans @ Grizzlies (-5.5), O/U 231.5 7:30 ET

Memphis is anxious to get back on the court after inexplicably losing 123-112 at Houston on Sunday when the Rockets had lost 12 in a row prior. The Pelicans have won four of five, coming off an OT loss in Denver on Sunday.

Bucks (-13.5) @ Thunder O/U 230.5 8:00 ET

Possible blowout spot for Milwaukee here, although the Bucks only won 96-89 during their November meeting. OKC has allowed 120+ in 4 of their last 6, so Bucks players are still a target here.

Clippers @ Warriors (-5.5), O/U 222.5 10:00 ET

Steve Kerr used a skeleton crew last night in Denver, losing 131-124 as Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins all sitting for rest prior to the back-to-back. Jordan Poole had 32 points and Moses Moody 30 but expect that protection to drop with the big dogs back.
