Top NBA Plays Wednesday February 16th| Headed to the Break

We've got a jam-packed 11-game NBA slate tonight with many teams wrapping up their first half of the season heading into the all-star break. The Suns, T'Wolves, Grizzlies, Hawks, and Pacers are all on the b2b heading into the break so it wouldn't be a shock to see them ease up a big in their respective matchups.

Let's get to it:

🏀Top 5 Player Props February 16th 🏀

LineStar has a new Player Prop tab that lets you search the best individual props through apps such as DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, and PointsBet. Here are some of the best bets for tonight:

🏀Nikola Jokic (Under 13.5 rebounds) - He's grabbed 15+ rebounds in three straight games, but that number is just way too high against a Golden State team that has allowed a ceiling of 11 boards to the last five starting C's they've faced.

🏀Nikola Vucevic (Under 35.5 points and rebounds) Sacramento hasn't been bad vs. the center position lately, holding seven straight starters to single digits in rebounds. That includes a 21/7 and 25/9 line against Karl-Anthony Towns so play against Vuc even though he's on a roll.

🏀Chris Paul (Over 11.5 assists) -Why not, he's got 12+ assists in 8 of the last 10 and is up against a Houston squad that is last in the NBA allowing 117.6 ppg. The Suns being on the back to back and in a possible blowout game isn't a hindrance in this spot.

🏀Kyle Kuzma (Over 31.5 points and rebounds) - It's a great time to attack Indiana as they just want to get to the all-star break and reboot. The Pacers have allowed 120+ in 5 of the last 6, giving up 50/14 to Giannis last night and 37/5/5 to Anthony Edwards on Sunday.

🏀De'Aaron Fox (Over 27.5 points and rebounds) -PGs vs. Chicago are still a thing. Dejounte Murray had 19/6/11 on Monday, Josh Giddey posted a triple-double (11/12/10) over the weekend and LaMelo Ball had 33/9/5 last Wednesday. Fox has 18+ shots in four straight games since returning from the injured list.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Pistons @ Celtics(-12.5) O/U 213 7:30 ET

Boston is on the back to back, but are they really considering they beat Philly 135-87 last night? The Celtics still have some pretty good value considering the Pistons have dropped 12 of their last 13 while Boston has won 9 straight.

Wizards @ Pacers (PK), O/U 226 7:30 ET

Have to give Indiana credit, they stuck with the Bucks and a returning Giannis Antetokounmpo last night before ultimately falling 128-119 for their 7th straight loss. That kind of puts Washington in a sad state of affairs that this game is just a Pick 'Em.

Nets @ Knicks (-4.5) O/U 217 7:30 ET

New York is 3-12 in their last 15 games yet are still -4.5 favorites over the Nets tonight. Brooklyn just snapped an 11-game losing streak with a 109-85 win over the Kings, but this game has Knicks big written all over it which means Julius Randle probably continues his run of 56+ fp in 5 of the last 6.

Kings @ Bulls (-6), O/U 232.5 8:00 ET

DeMar DeRozan has been amazing lately with 35+ points in six straight games and this feels like a huge culmination spot at home and in the Bulls last game before the all-star break. Sacramento is a willing opponent, losing 109-85 to the Nets on Monday even after Brooklyn had dropped their previous 11 games.

Trail Blazers @ Grizzlies (-11.5), O/U 229 8:00 ET

Ja Morant was a late scratch last night and it's hard to see him going tonight as Memphis plays their last game before the all-star break. The Grizzlies still beat the Pelicans 121-109 for their sixth straight win and all while scoring 120+ in each game. Tyus Jones went for 27 real points last night, Is anybody back on board?

Raptors (-2) @Timberwolves, O/U 226.5 8:00 ET

Bigs vs. Charlotte continued to be a thing last night with Karl-Anthony Towns going for 39 points and 15 boards vs. the Hornets. KAT also played 41 minutes though and with Anthony Edwards (ankle) leaving early last night Toronto should be in a good spot to get the W.

Nuggets @ Warriors (-5.5), O/U 225 10:00 ET

It's probably a Nikola Jokic night considering Ivica Zubac and Isaiah Hartenstein combined for 27 points and 14 rebounds in the Clippers 119-104 win over GSW on Monday.

Jazz (-4.5) @ Lakers, O/U 226 10:00 ET

Utah is 6-0 in February, but all of those games have also been at home. The Jazz look to head into the all-star break by exorcising the demon of five straight road losses when they visit a Lakers squad that has dropped 7 of their last 9. Rudy Gobert returned for Utah on Monday with 14 points and 7 rebounds after being out with a calf injury since January 23rd.
