It's a 9-game Wednesday night slate that is headlined by the Nikola Jokic or Joel Embiid conundrum. Both big men are on one right now with 60+ fp games being the norm, and also have great matchups. Embiid is playing a Washington team that ranks 27th vs. the C's and is on extra rest after a scheduled night off Monday. Jokic is playing on the back to back but is also up against a Utah squad missing Rudy Gobert and possibly Hassan Whiteside. Both guys are likely going to pad their MVP resumes, so let's see who else is worthy of playing on this card:

Wizards @ Sixers (-10.5), O/U 217 7:00 ET

Washington has a tough test here, on the back to back without Bradley Beal and up against a Sixers team on a five game win streak. Joel Embiid ($12k) rested on Monday in the win over Memphis.

Hornets @ Celtics (-4.5), O/U 222.5 7:30 ET

Boston cruised to a 30-point win over the Heat on Monday and are in a target game with Charlotte allowing 113+ points in five straight.

Grizzlies (-3) @ Knicks, O/U 217 7:30 ET

Ja Morant ($10.5k) at Madison Square Garden is intriguing coming off 37 real points vs. the Sixers on Monday, but 9 turnovers held him to 48fp. New York has lost 6 of their last 8 but may have an advantage in the post with the Grizzlies' Steven Adams questionable with an ankle injury.

Cavs (-5) @ Rockets, O/U 218.5 8:00 ET

Cleveland plays their second straight game without Darius Garland (back) and have their third contest in the last four nights. Houston has dropped four in a row, allowing 120+ in each of their last three.

Nuggets @ Jazz (-2), O/U 226 10:00 ET

The hits keep coming to the Jazz, who just lost Joe Ingles for the season due to an ACL tear. Donovan Mitchell (concussion) and Rudy Gobert (calf) continue to be out while Hassan Whiteside (back) could also be out in a matchup with NIkola Jokic on the post. Uh-oh.

Nets (-4) @ Kings, O/U 232 10:00 ET

Brooklyn needs one here, sandwiching a visit to Sacramento in between losses to Golden State and Phoenix while heading to Utah and Denver next. The Nets play on the back to back but are also up against a Kings team that has dropped 7 in a row.

Trail Blazers @ Lakers (-3.5) O/U 222.5 10:30 ET

The Lakers are back home after a six game road swing that was originally scheduled when the Grammy's were going to be held in Los Angeles. Portland has allowed 130+ in two of the last four, but likely won't have to face Lebron James who is suffering some knee soreness.
