We've got an interesting schedule quirk tonight, with ESPN wanting to show Luka Doncic at Madison Square Garden but also the matchup between the top two teams in the East when the Nets visit the Celtics. Therefore we've got a rare 10:00 PM ET tipoff at the United Center tonight - and a lot of people late for work tomorrow.

Overall it looks like a pretty high-scoring Wednesday slate with 6 of the 9 games having betting totals in the 220s. Rockets/Spurs, Nets/Bulls, and Lakers/Kings are also in the 230s.

Tonight's Key NBA Matchups

Hornets @ Sixers (-5) , O/U 227 7:00 ET

Charlotte just held Milwaukee to 102.5 ppg over a two-game sweep, so are we seeing a defensive resurgence from the Hornets? Bigs vs. Charlotte still has to be in play though (28th vs. the C position) especially when Joel Embiid has scored 30+ real points in seven straight.

Heat @ Hawks (-2.5), O/U 223 7:30 ET

Jimmy Butler (ankle) remains out for Miami but Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson combined for 60 real points off the bench in a 23-point win in Phoenix on Saturday. That was Miami's last game so they are well rested and up against an Atlanta team that gave up 130+ points in three of the six games on their West Coast road trip that just wrapped up.

Mavericks (-2.5) @ Knicks, O/U 2077:30 ET

It could be a Luka Doncic night playing at MSG (64+ fp last two in NYC) and without Kristaps Porzingis (protocols). The real intriguing player in this game is Julius Randle, who is still $8.5k despite having a 5 and a 2 real point outing over his last 5 games.

Rockets @ Spurs (-5.5), O/U 232.5 8:30 ET

A pretty high betting total which is somewhat expected as Houston has slid past Charlotte as the league's worst defensive unit giving up 116.4 ppg. The Spurs have been held under 100 in 3 of the last 4 though (although those were all on the road) so who do you target there?

Cavaliers @ Jazz (-5.5), O/U 223 9:00 ET

Utah is only a 5.5 favorite here, but then again the Jazz have lost three straight giving up 120+ in each of those defeats. The last loss was brutal, getting up 22 to the Pistons and still losing 126-116.

Nets @ Bulls (-2) O/U 232.5 10:00 ET

Chicago looks for the season sweep over Brooklyn but one key factor is that Kyrie Irving didn't play in either of the first two games. The Bulls are on the back to back here, but a 46 point win over the Pistons last night wasn't exactly strenuous. Irving, James Harden, and Lamarcus Aldridge could all miss this key matchup though.

Lakers (-3.5) @ Kings O/U 231.5 10:00 ET

Sacramento has dropped five in a row, a stretch that started with a 122-114 loss to these Lakers last Tuesday. LeBron James had 31 real points in that game but just 47fp, yet is still the highest priced player on the slate at $11.7k.

• Play only if James Harden and Kyrie Irving both sit

• Double digit shot attempts in three straight

• 28 minute average last three games

• Had 11/23/10 vs. Celtics on Monday. Rebounds will be hard to duplicate but so will a mere 3-12 shooting.

• Both Boston and Indianapolis are last vs. PFs last 5 games so coin flip with Jayson Tatum ($9.5k)

• Sabonis is more consistent, pushing 6X in 5 of last 6

• Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert are still GTD

Kyle Kuzma DK $8k | FD $8.9k vs. Orlando

• Run it back play after he had 27 points and 22 rebounds on Sunday vs. these Magic

• Managed 42fp last night even with just 5 rebounds

• Mo Bamba (toe) joins Wendell Carter, Jr. (hamstring) on injury report
