Top NBA Plays Wednesday November 24th|Eating Heavy
The NBA has stepped aside to let football take center stage on Thanksgiving tomorrow, meaning we've got all the fixings of a 13-game DFS slate tonight.
The highlights of tonight's action is Lebron James returning from a 1-game suspension, Jaylen Brown being questionable after his first game back for what is being called "conditioning", and the Bulls possibly getting Nikola Vucevic back from his COVID quarantine.
Let's dig through the stuffing and see how tonight's matchups play out:
Tonight's Key NBA Matchups
Lakers @ Pacers (-4.5) O/U 217 7:00 PM ET
James is back tonight but the Lakers are still underdogs playing on the back to back. L.A lost 106-100 to the Knicks last night which makes you wonder how much Anthony Davis will play after logging 34 minutes and battling through a thigh injury lately.
Hornets (-7) @ Magic, O/U 219 7:00 PM ET
Orlando is still a bit banged up with Cole Anthony (ankle) and Gary Harris (hand) likely to miss another game, but this one could be a target game with both teams allowing over 112 ppg in their last three.
Nets (-1) @ Celtics, O/U 216 7:30 PM ET
Brooklyn has played either Orlando, Cleveland, Oklahoma City, or New Orleans in 6 of their last 7 games, suffering a 117-99 loss to Golden State in that span as well. Boston looks ready to get on a run, winners of three straight and playing their fourth consecutive game at home.
Raptors @ Grizzlies (-3), O/U 217.5 8:00 PM ET
Toronto is only a +3 point underdog here, which seems weird because they've lost three of their last four, are playing game five of a six game road trip, and to a lesser extent have had the last two nights off. The Grizzlies just beat Utah for their third win in the last four. Trap game? 🧀🐀
Heat at Timberwolves (-1), O/U 212.5 8:00 PM ET
Minnesota gets the favorite tag tonight, which makes you think there could be some injury/absence news coming from the Heat, who are playing on the back to back. It's the Jimmy Butler homecoming game in Minnesota, but he and Kyle Lowry both logged 35+ minutes in last night's 100-92 win over Detroit.
76ers @ Warriors (-10.5), O/U 217 10:00 PM ET
Potential blowout game with the Warriors as double digit favorites, especially as the Sixers were not only without Joel Embiid on Monday, but also Tobias Harris, Seth Curry, and Danny Green. That kills some of the Steph Curry ($11.4k) upside.
Trail Blazers (-1.5) @ Kings, O/U 225 10:00 PM ET
Portland brings their 1-7 road record to Sacramento to face a Kings squad that continued their losing ways under new coach Alvin Gentry on Monday. The Sixers pulled out a 102-94 road win despite being heavily undermanned.
